Can anyone explain what is going on with the price for this module on Amazon? I find it offered new at $14, but then there are used copies from $52 up to an insane $1900. Is there something special about them that I am missing?

Looks like a money laundering scheme.

"How did I make so much money this year? Oh, I sold a few books. For $1900 a pop. Hey, I'm good at upselling!"

Prices for obscure things (like RPG modules) often have nutso prices on Amazon -- sellers see other sellers with inflated prices and follow suit. It's not necessarily the case that they are *getting* those prices, but the phenomenon persists.

And hey, if you can make even one sale, why not, I guess...

Sure, non-gaming significant other, I will sell some of my books.

(Posts with crazy prices.)

Sorry, dear, I tried, but no one is buying ...

(My theory.)

Best part-for the almost $2K mod you still have to pay almost $4 for shipping!

Entirely possible. And ingenious, in a I'm-more-interested-in-my-stuff-than-my-relationship kind of way...

Why bother on those high prices. Sellers are just trying to add more value on it by placing enticing details.
