The Hypercube of Myt (So Cal Tournaments)

I'd like to announce to the gamers in SoCal about the DCC RPG Tournament I'll be running on Saturday, at 3pm, April 25 at Kingdom-Con, San Diego and Gamex in Los Angeles. The Tournament successfully debuted at GaryCon with 129 deaths and the winner surviving 7 encounters.

Kingdom Con is two weeks in San Diego, April 23rd - 26th.
Gamex on Memorial Weekend in May, May 22 - May 25.

The tournament will work like this: Competitors will make one zero-level character and queue up. The first 6 or so (probably those that registered first) players will enter with their one and only zero and the rest will wait until one of the first entrants dies. Your character's death means your out! and off the table. Those that get eliminated early (and it'll be often) can make a new zero, get back in line, and try again. The next player and his zero immediately enters the dungeon, directly into an ongoing encounter, and so-on until the tournament ends (at the end of the slot.)

There will be prizes and swag for everyone that plays. It'll be fun, and a good way to get a good taste of Dungeon Crawl Classics. Hope to see you there!

I'll be running it again on Free RPG Day (TBD), then SD again (Gam3rCon). You can try again if you didn't do so well. Just remember no meta-gaming!
