RIP Chester the Crimson, Beastmaster and Space Wizard, late of Lake Geneva, WI, an adventurer through space, time, and weird dimensions.
He arrived on this strange world luckless and spellburned up to his (luxurious) eyebrows, but determined to survive, so close to level 3, never admitting defeat, until the treacherous DC 5 Agility check sent him tumbling to his doom. It was the dice what did it, and that's DCC.
He will be missed.

He was a brave soul indeed to face the Purple Planet's hazards at level 2. I'm sure the Gods have a place for him somewhere...

Re: Perished on the Purple Planet
It really wasn't the level of the adventure, though. It's a strong group who play cautiously.Pesky wrote:He was a brave soul indeed to face the Purple Planet's hazards at level 2.
The wizard was spellburned down to minimum stats (spell or die in the previous session), failed several easy saves, blew a Spider Climb (!) roll, and fell off something that shouldn't have been fallen from. Bad dicing.
