DCC Game Starting Up in Los Angeles, CA

I'm starting up a casual DCC game with a few friends in LA. Since I'm pretty much planning on at least some of them flaking out, I'm looking for a few new players just in case. In the event they are all in, I might still be able to add one more player.

Although I think I'd put Dopesmoker on there instead. that's just me though.

Hey dude. I know that space. I also know people in Theory Lab and Umlaut Haus and Big Arts. You're close and I've been running a DCC RPG game just up the street for over a year now (since BETA) and a 4e D&D campaign a couple years before that, and 3e since 2000...

btw, I'm not sure you want to call DCC RPG "a" 1e AD&D RPG, it's kind of its own beast, but those modules you got there are very compatible with DCC RPG.

Hey Drak,

Ya, I've started House ruling the game with a few AD&D elements...like alignment. I just *have* to mess things up. Right now we're just running funnels so far. We had a TPK in Sailors/Starless Sea. That's what happens when you confuse a puzzle encounter with a combat encounter...

I'm just now seeing this - I guess I have to subscribe to my own thread, huh?

You should add some Bathory to that playlist. :] Nordland I and II, Hammerheart etc.

Also some Summoning such as Dol Guldur and Minas Morgul.

Spotify is pretty short on Summoning...just 4 songs. Lame.

it probably doesn't have Abigor "Orkblut" ep either, but that's the best record by those guys IMO. "Minas Morgul" is good too. And "Nachthymnen" is good straight ahead black metal. But stoner doom (Sleep, Om, The Sword, Baroness, stuff like that) fits DCC best i think.
