Thanks Ravens that list is growing fast.
Curious has anyone written out the deities on the cleric page but didnt necessarily get a writeup of their own? I have a player who wants to worship the lawful god of war which ill prolly write up if its not already been done by someone else.

Assuming you mean Gorhan, yes, I've done a Goodman-approved writeup on the religion of Gorhan for future publication in Crawl!

Nope sorry I didn't have the book close to me when I first posted. I was referring to Klazath, god of war.

Klazath - The Crimson Banner, Lawful God of War and Subjugation
Supports tyranny, glory through war, and the elimination or subjugation of the weak (lest they consume resources the strong deserve). Peace is considered a force of stagnation and weakness to be despised. He is depicted as a warrior clad in blood-splattered black plate, with a horned helm and mighty great axe. His symbol is a black, double-bitted axe stained with blood, and his priests smear their armour with their own blood prior to battle. He is a dire enemy of Gorhan and Justicia.

Ooh nice start Colin I approve! Since it's just for a cleric I won't need all of the extras a patron write up needs either so that should do nicely.

Great idea with a list of patrons!

What's the name of the ferryman, who sails people over the river styx in Greek mythology - and would he be useable as a patron in your opinion?

I still think this would be awesome as a real book. Get art of each patron along with a full write up.

My patron list in the first post is woefully behind. Post links to patrons in this thread, and I will try to have the main list updated by this weekend. There are plenty of weird entities to choose from!

This is a great resource, and I would love to see it made into at least a compiled PDF!

It's been a long time since I updated this list. I am going to try to create a more comprehensive list of patrons, gods, and patron-like beings, including all of them in various books, adventures, and zines, but I need your help!

If you have a patron on your blog, or hidden elsewhere on the World Wide Interwebs, please throw a link into this thread, and I will include it on the master list when I produce it.

Thank you!

This thread hasnt gotten any love for awhile.

With the new Lankhmar Patrons book, there is a quick & easy way to do Patrons. A lot less work. Each patron gets a description, Invoke Patron, Patron Taint, and Spell Burn- but not 3 new unique spells. This seems to work out nicely. There are some existing spells that a patron could grant access to instead.(Fire spells for a fire related patron, etc) It cuts down on the work immensely. Each patron only took 3 pages and that included a short description and some art.

So far, I've just rolled published patrons in (or, at least, for the most part!), but I will be adding others as I get the time!
