Drowning?

Portal under the stars mentions the danger of drowning. Are there rules for this anywhere? If not, how are people handling this please?

There's a couple references scattered throughout the text about losing 1d6 temporary points of Stamina per round (w/ death occuring at zero). Check the entries for Lizardman pg420, Water Elemental pg412, and Transmute Earth pg244.
