Goodman Games

Hey, so for the Crawljammer zine, I'll be introducing at least one new character class per issue. The first issue has the Lizardman Mercenary (a vicious, tail-lashing, laser-sword swinging fighting machine), and here's what's already designed or in-the-works for upcoming issues:

The Technomancer
The Lizardman Ecclesiast
The Riftrunner

Since Crawljammer is all about space operatic fantasy adventures in outer space and on alien planets, in the spirit of Edgar Rice Burroughs and Lin Carter and Thundarr and the New Gods and Leigh Brackett and Andre Norton and Killraven and more...well, what kinds of character classes would you like to see developed for upcoming issues?

(I'm thinking some kind of Space Ranger too, but I probably wouldn't call it that because, you know, Buzz Lightyear is a thing.) Ideas?

Space Ranger and Psychic Knight!

Psychic Knight sounds great to me. His energy sword is a manifestation of his will!

I was watching Star Wars last night, so I was thinking about something very similar.

I think a solid smuggler/swashbuckler type would be perfect.

Okay, so maybe the lineup for this year's Crawljammer issues (and new character classes) looks something like this:

Issue #1: Lizardman Mercenary
Issue #2: Technomancer
Issue #3: Riftrunner
Issue #4: Lizardman Ecclesiast
Issue #5: Psychic Knight
Issue #6: Space Ranger

Future issues and/or supplements: The Swashbuckling Pilot, The Robotman, The Solar Guardian, The Mind Master

What about the lich-like "Brain in a box" ie a computer with the brain of its creator, Think ORAC from Blakes 7 - an acrylic box with cotton batting and xmas lights inside that flash when he speaks. You could give him a sweet motorized cart to get around

What class would let me play a scoundrel like Harcourt Fenton Mudd? Something of a space-pimp crossed with a snake-oil salesman. I'm thinking he shouldn't do much fighting himself... but would have a bodyguard or two.

Also, I want a spaceship that's looks like the head from Zardoz (no need for Sean Connery in a red diaper though).
