At the moment I'm only looking at releasing it as a softcover for $12.99. I didn't really consider a hardcover for 40 pages but it probably would look good. I'll be trying to figure out how to bundle the products together but until I'm recognised by the sight as legit, I can't use some of the promotional tools.

Once I receive my proof copy I'll update my blog: http://shinobi27games.blogspot.com.au/

I'll also be sharing some art from The Curse of Mistwood soon.

Cheers.

Hey SavageGM, thanks again for the kind review.

As promised here is a preview piece of art from The Curse of Mistwood. This attractive femme is known as the Methuselah of Wartaren and she has a lot to answer for in the next adventure. Doesn't it just make you want to throw your gaming group at her?

Her charming seat is known as the Throne of Undying Wisdom, stitched together from the flesh of past methuselah.

I've started a blog for shinobi 27 games. Additional information and background material can be found there as well as regular updates on product development. Drop by and leave a message. :)

I hear yah! The proof copy was shipped on the 17th, so I'm waiting delivery of that to see if any changes are needed before it becomes available. I'll keep you updated.

Oh, and the methuselah isn't a troll, she's not that nice.

Great news! I received the print version of Trolls from RPGNow this afternoon. It looks great in print. I've started the process of activating it on RPGNow. It usually takes a few days. Below is a link to a clip of me happily opening the package at the door.

Hey! You cheated! That box was already opened in the video 8) Too bad the maps were not slipped in so they can be taken out without ruining the book. I will be ordering the color maps along with the print...and package deals?

Looks nice and wait for the print version...

It's true I broke the seal before shooting that lol.

The two Mistwood maps are positioned in the book so that they could technically be removed without affecting the adventure - but it is bound in such a way that it would be difficult to get them out. Easy enough to photocopy though.

Hopefully, RPGNow won't take too long to have POD Trolls active.

I am happy as a dwarf dunked in gold coins! Just ordered the softcover and PDF along with the two color maps. Now just need to get my players to level 4+...they keep dieing on me :?

Now a couple of questions:

The book is for my personal collection and as such I do not want it ruined in anyway. The PDF, I will make copies of it and place each page in a protective sleeve and than all will go into a three ring binder. It will be used at the game table. How will the book be sent? It will not be sent in a soft envelope..will it? That will spell the doom of the condition of the book when it arrives.

Also, what is the best way to print out those two color maps? If I take them to a copy center what should I tell them I need for best quality? I will have them laminated and used at the gaming table along side the various other game tools and maps.

You can make a mini campaign setting with Mistwood adventures...so far your off to a great start! Do not stop.... :D

Hey MrHemlocks, thanks for the purchase! Now for your questions:
MrHemlocks wrote:How will the book be sent? It will not be sent in a soft envelope..will it?
My copy was sent in a stiff cardboard folder - as seen in the YouTube clip above (but sealed). It was in mint condition.
MrHemlocks wrote:Also, what is the best way to print out those two color maps?
I took them mine to a store here called Big W and had them printed in the Photography section onto canvas. On paper, I'd recommend onto a nice matte A3 board.
MrHemlocks wrote:If I take them to a copy center what should I tell them I need for best quality?
They are best suited to be A3 sized. They may need some color adjustment depending on the printing method - the place that does the printing should determine that.

Okay, this isn't a question but just wanted to say thanks for the encouragement and the support. I am currently putting two adventures together - one is The Curse of Mistwood and the second is not set in Mistwood but the same world - it's something that the PCs could easily be drawn into in their travels.

You can keep up on product development over at my blog and on G+.

Cheers,
David.

Curse of Mistwood is coming along - art is rolling ahead as is the writing. With two weeks off work coming up, I plan to get the bulk of the adventure written, then the long period of editing, revising, playtesting and revising some more. Brian will be busy with maps during this time as well.

Some preview art from Curse of Mistwood and The Freezing of Claeridge Pass can be found over at the Shinobi27 Blog: http://shinobi27games.blogspot.com.au/2 ... cover.html

A more detailed image of the cover art can be found here: http://davidwfisher.deviantart.com/art/ ... -442476268

Note: the cover is still a work in progress; there are a few things still to be added.

Cheers,
David.
