Calling All 3PP!

Post by reverenddak »

I'm going to be running & plugging DCC RPG at the local gaming convention here in Los Angeles at the end of the month (less than 2 weeks.) It's a pretty big con with a big RPG turn out (which is rare in LA.) They're plugging Diablo III, so it might be a big event.

I plan to put together a packet to hand out to participants of my Scheduled games and any Demos I can get away with running. I'll also be selling my zine, Crawl!

If you would like me to include a one-sheet or some other promotional item for your product I'd LOVE to hand it out. The only problem is I'm pretty strapped for cash, so you'd either have it sent to me, or sent to my local Staples for printing, or we can work something out. It shouldn't cost anyone much, I plan to make 20 packets. So 20 copies of your one-sheet, or whatever, should be pretty cheap and easy. In fact, there is time for you to send them to me if you already have some printed.

If this program works, we should all collaborate on DCC RPG 3PP promotional packets for future cons, etc.

What do you think?

PM or email me for my snail mail address. rev d0t dak @+ straycouches d0t com

Awesome idea! Unfortunately, I am not a publisher. Once I get my copy of DCC and run a few playtests of some of my adventures, I'll definitely be spamming your inbox with them as Crawl! submissions.

Yes please. Also if you're in touch with other publishers that don't camp on these forums like I do, pass it on.

Dak, thanks for running the games and taking the lead on this sort of collaboration!

At some point in the future I'd like to put together a "DCC RPG demo kit" of some kind to help further support games like this. Maybe even involving tee shirts of some kind. :) Too many other things to work on right now but it's on the list, and your continued positive assistance will definitely make it worthwhile!

You're welcome. I really love this game, and want it to succeed. And I think the level of 3PP support that it's getting is unprecedented, and I'm proud to be part of it. I want us all to be successful.

That being said. I'm going to be out of town all weekend, so don't expect replies until Monday. So PM/email me ASAP today to get my info or if you have any questions. Or simple send your order to that Staples, and send me the PDF receipt so I can pick it up before Friday the 25th.

...and now for a teaser!

Nice. I'm looking forward to getting my copy. Do you plan to offer subscriptions like Loviatar?

Yes, if you scroll down on the Buy Now page, you should find 6-issue subscriptions:
