Confirmed, Purple Planet is Planet X Nibiru! It has come by in its once in 10,000 year orbit and now is gone and forgotten

The Purple Planet boxed set is nearly completely sold out. They may be waiting to compile a new version of the set, which would include this, rather than make it a separate product.

That's a guess, but based on past schtuff that's happened.

DCC #94: Neon Knights is a Purple Planet tie-in, and adds a bit of territory.

I think the PP is a really rich setting, and has plenty of room to expand outside the plateau and underplanet. (Where are those sky raiders going?) It might work better in campaign play to tone down its default hostile nature, though. Scrounging to avoid stat drain gets grueling after a while. Acclimation to the effects of the weirdling sun, plus adding safe areas, would make it more inviting as a place to explore, not just escape from.
