I would like to post a modest proposal for DCC RPG. I put forth that THE MOST DCC RPG setting, the most Appendix N'est setting for DCC RPG is.... Adventure Time. You have a world with magic but for some reason star fairing technology. The main villain Ice King is obviously a wizard and has major corruption from a magic artifact. Finn is a fighter with a strange magic sword like no other and a history that he must uncover to save the world. Peppermint butler has magic power that comes from the nightosphere and his patron. Ancient worlds lie below the current one, and magics far above anyone's ken dot the landscape. Heck Jake is some sort of dog with crazy abilities. Nothing is ever just one thing-just like the Appendix N fantasy.

I don't know that I would call the Ice King the main villain. He's a victim of the crown he wears. They might be planning on saving him at some point.
