My son and I are big DCC RPG fans. I've lurked here since its publication, but I had to register to say:

Yesterday I backed Perils on the Purple Planet - my very first participation in a Kickstarter (or any crowdfunding) project! The boxed set will be a Christmas present for my son. Can't wait!

So, is it a one shot adventures or will this be part od a greater campaign setting? Like chained coffin that includes a campaign setting.

there is campaign booklet and depending on the success it will feature three or more chapters. also additional booklet will be added, again depending on the crowdfunding drive.

That is last year's Gen Con tee and it's sold out. But we will have another one for Gen Con this year. Hmm, maybe we should do a Purple Planet tee?

Might I suggest a rendering by Doug Kovacs depicting the Shudder Mountains - where there exists a magical portal - showing the purple planet's blasted landscape? Please??

I'm not a huge fan of some of the tchotchkes and "Goodman-wear" (trucker hats? sigh) you guys have offered as add-ons in previous KSes, but a PotPP shirt with Doug's art?

Hell yes, I'd make it rain digital benjamins for that as an add-on!!!

This must be some new meaning of the word 'maybe' that I am unaware of -- 'cause this can't mean 'maybe' in the way I understand 'maybe'.

Indeed!

Doug really outdid himself -and that's pretty damn hard to do - with the Purple Planet artwork!

The latest episode of Spellburn got to me. International postage be damned, these here grubby paws are going to rub all over that thing!
I had to go back it half way though I couldn't take it. And so close to the judges screen, too.

Is this going to be available at retail at some point?

(I'd love to back the Kickstarter and help attain the final stretch goal, but international shipping & handling is killing me.)
