Re: Invoke DK: New Spellburn podcast
I just added some studio shots to my site to look at while you listen. Don't ask what any of this stuff is for…. if you pay attention you should know soon enough.

Thanks Daniel. I know your stuff is good too.
I'm intentionally avoiding reading it all so I can play in some of the adventures and actually be surprised.

Re: Invoke DK: New Spellburn podcast
Just for the record: Harley Stroh will be responsible for Perils on the Purple planet. If you are asking about the image I think you are, the answer is "No", but there is a piece of an embryonic image for perils in the upper left corner of the pic of the table shot, but not on the easel. I know that is an evasive answer. It is intentional.

Hey Doug,
Can't wait to see the new paintings! (And incredibly jealous that you can keep plants alive in your studio! Every time I tried to do that in the past they end up dead and withered after the first day.)

Thanks for the compliments Peter, I really like your stuff too. Your work is always a nice final surprise in a module after I've done my parts. Can't wait to see the new paintings! (And incredibly jealous that you can keep plants alive in your studio! Every time I tried to do that in the past they end up dead and withered after the first day.)
The key to keeping the plants alive has been putting them right in front of my face every day so I don't forget about them.

Thanks for being on the show, Doug! The added bonus of the virtual studio tour that you posted on your blog was the phlogiston icing on the creative cake.

Re: Invoke DK: New Spellburn podcast
Amazing episode! The only problem I had with it was Jim kept apologising for the art geek speak. We need MOAR of this! Doug, I really enjoyed the beginning of the discussions about colaborative creativity. Hopefully Spellburn will invite you back on again, there seemed to be a lot more to say.

Yes there was a lot to say in such a short period of time. Jobe, Jim and Jeffery didn't get to all their questions.
You probably don't want to listen to me talk for much longer than that unless I'm running a game though I would guess. I don't have much of a radio voice.
A sample of a few things I forgot to mention:
**how much fun it was to play Chill (Pacesetter , I think) with my older brother as the GM when I was a kid
** anything about materials and how my whole art professional career has been effected by the digital tidal wave. For instance the Middle Earth paintings I mentioned were done in Egg Tempera.
** Visting Harley and getting a first had look at where the Chaos from the end of Sailors on the Starless Sea might have come from in his first hand experience.
** there is a lot more

Re: Invoke DK: New Spellburn podcast
Doug, you are such a tease! Now they have to have you back as a guest, and as soon as possible!
I, too, have fond memories of Pacesetter's Chill, and I have been considering converting some of the early modules as TA adventures.

If you ever do a show on Alignment I'd like to be on it Jobe. I think I can talk endlessly on that subject too.
