Wow. Is that artwork really on the spine of the book? That is amazing.

Yes, the spine is awesome. Doug did an amazing job with it. I guess that's the one thing you can't see in the PDF -- you'll have to wait for hard copy to check it out.

Joseph, you continue to surprise me.

I was telling my sister this AM that the final PDF was out and she said "I know what you'll be doing all day" and I had to tell her that since I'd already seen most of it before there wasn't much new for me to look forward to.

Now I see that you've got stuff like this waiting for me to discover it when the book comes out.

Very cool! 8)

That is damn sexy.

Even cooler, the metal version has a slightly altered spine, to reflect just how metal it is.

And when I get mine, they (must have both covers, don't you know) shall be displayed prominently upon my bookshelf like arcane tomes of eldrich might. :D

I can't wait to have the physical books in my hands.

I was about to ask the same thing. We got the PDF today and, by Crom, it is glorious but when can we get our sweaty, grubby little paws on the real thing. And the adventure too!

Wow, that's gorgeous! Now I've got to order this version as well as the foil! I hope the modules will be available on a subscription basis! Man I love that spine!

Noted on the many t-shirt requests! I too love the idea. Just a lot of other irons in the fire right now.

Based on the latest printer estimates, I would expect pre-order recipients to get their copies in late April (depending on shipping timelines...international orders obviously later), and the book to actually be in stores in early to mid May.

That artwork on the spine of the regular version made me less sorry for myself for not
buying the foil cover as well...then I heard some whisper about the foil version spine.

Will the foil cover version be available for a bit at retail launch or was it pre-order only?

I know there's a link to it on the front page of the site but I'm wondering if I might
still get one in the next few weeks? 70$ bit of a grab for this 0 level but I'd love to
have both versions of this book.

The spine on the foil version is really cool...Doug did an un-dead version of the wizard on the color cover. Kind of a lich-looking guy. The two spines complement each other if seen side by side.

There will be gold foil copies available at retail, but I expect the first wave of retail orders will wipe out we'll have in our warehouse. I didn't print that many as it is intended to be a limited edition.

I knew I'd regret it if I didn't pre-order one of each.. :)

Can't wait to see them.
