DCC RPG TEE SHIRTS---why can't we own them?
I have absolutely ZERO way of attending GenCon. I'd love a shirt, in both colors.
Can I haz tee-shirt?!?
Re: DCC RPG TEE SHIRTS---why can't we own them?
yep! +1 to this!
I'm sure many people at this side of the pond is asking if there is any way to get them.

We are packing up from Gen Con and we do have some extras. They'll be sold on the web site once we are all unpacked.

While I know you were joking, I had absolutely 150% positively NO WAY of attending the Con.JediOre wrote:Joe, the subject was ripe for "because you are not worthy!"
That has nothing to do with my "worthiness," and a lot more to do with "I'm a responsible dude with a family and job that can't drive for 9 hours--one way--to attend a weekend-long geek carnival."
If that doesn't make me worthy, I don't know what does.
I'm not bitter so much as I'm jealous and maybe a little resentful of the folks who don't have to work weekends and get to drop a ton of disposable income on T shirts and games, neither of which I have the capability to do.
Enough about the butt-hurt. Gimme some (cheap) T-shirts!!!

Ogrepuppy, I'm in the same boat. GenCon occurs the week before the college I work for fall term begins. Even if I had the finances to go, I cannot image how I could request the days off.Ogrepuppy wrote:While I know you were joking, I had absolutely 150% positively NO WAY of attending the Con.JediOre wrote:Joe, the subject was ripe for "because you are not worthy!"

Did I miss something? What is that Dark Ruins little book?

Somebody call the waaah-mbulance! (I'm a responsible dude with a family and a job too, and my drive to Gen Con would be more than three times longer than yours. I've never been, and probably never will go -- but you won't see me taking offense at a little joke because I don't get some special T-shirt (!). Lighten up, dude.).Ogrepuppy wrote:While I know you were joking, I had absolutely 150% positively NO WAY of attending the Con.JediOre wrote:Joe, the subject was ripe for "because you are not worthy!"

You haven't been around here long. Jedi and I have been around these boards for many years and have interacted a few times.jozxyqk wrote:Somebody call the waaah-mbulance! Possibly you don't realize that I'm not ACTUALLY upset at Jedi (and I'm pretty sure he knows that), and if I was upset with him, I'd take this conversation private.
More to the point, I'm interested in giving Mr. Goodman more of my money--I've been buying Goodman stuff for years now--in exchange for some dope swag, which is the topic of this thread.

OgrePuppy, I am deeply offended at your lack of attempted offence.
Next time you should lean towards your ogre and less towards your puppy when attacking a Jedi!
I also have been a long-time contributor to the fiscal betterment of Mr. Goodman. While I don't know if I could squeeze any more dollars out of the budget realistically, I think it would be neat to wear a tee-shirt from Goodman Games. I don't wear much advertising I would make a rare exception for Goodman.

See? Much love on these boards.
Sorry if I 'unloaded' on you/your comment, Jedi. I was having a bad day.

You two slap happy fools done yet?
Come on! What is that little book that says Dark Ruins on the cover? Why am I the only one in the dark here?
What is that little book? Is it just some random book bought at the con or is there a deep dark conspiracy afoot? It's near the 5E crapola so maybe it's nothing BUT it's also on top of the Metal Gods DCCRPG fan mag so maybe it's some new kewl fan brewed thing I missed.

Yes, what are the items that are not published from Goodman Games?

Demon Drums is an adventure for Crawljammer by Tim Callahan.
The Metal Gods of Ur-Hadad is a DCC RPG zine published by, well, the Metal Gods of Ur-hadad.
Dark Ruins is a mini-zine by Wayne Snyder given away to people who purchased the Metal Gods zine. It's an adventure with no words.
