2009 GenCon specials
Any special offerings this year at GenCon???
The past few years we've gotten Saga of the Witch Queen, the Rat King, and the Tower of the Black Pearl/Golden Aroch combo. So what do we get this year???
I hope that 4E doesnt mean the end of the first edition specials.

Re: 2009 GenCon specials
We'll have a special preview of our new 5E line!!!
Just kidding. There are several irons in the fire for Gen Con specials.
Tomb of the Blind God is our 2009 con special, available so far at D&D Experience, GenghisCon, and DunDraCon. We'll have that at Gen Con, with both the "green" Erol Otus cover and "white" Ben Wootten cover (featuring the Gen Con logo this time). Prior to Gen Con, it will also be available at the North Texas RPG Con and in limited quantities at KublaCon.
There are a couple 1E projects in the works. The first is a 1E adaptation of DCC #36: Talons of the Horned King. The second is a licensing arrangement to produce more 1E products overall, which will be announced at the North Texas RPG Con.
And maybe some other things...we'll see what strikes our fancy.

Re: 2009 GenCon specials
I believe that is, indeed, the plan (if my email inbox is any indication).
The tournament modules almost-always come out a year after they are played at GenCon.
Speaking of...some of the backstory for this year's tournament is posted here:
