Known Realms Calendar
I created this calendar based on the names of the Gods listed in the GM's Guide.
The Criestine Calendar follows:
1.Centivas
2.Solethas
3.Wyshalaras
4.Fenwaras
5.Ormazdas
6.Daentharas
7.Delvyras
8.ldaviras
9.Madrahs
10.Denithas
11.Valdrethas
12.Variagas
I will be working on days of the week next.

Oh I see. Well, that's cool. Sounds like they gave us the skeleton and we (The GMs) can develop as we see fit. That's cool with me.Renshai wrote:Not sure. Several calendars are mentioned in various places. The Criestine Calendar is mentioned, but the official timeline uses the Empyrean Calendar. I'm not sure if these are one and the same, though.
Several other calendars are mentioned as well but none are fully detailed.
And thanks for providing your calendar ideas.

I'm interested to see what you come up with as names for days of the week.Renshai wrote:I created this calendar based on the names of the Gods listed in the GM's Guide.

Good stuff - keep us posted on how you further develop this calendar. I may have to use it in my own forthcoming games.
Also, while far from "official", the "original" Criestine calendar that I used in my own homebrewed campaign world many, many years ago was the French Republican Calendar. Here's a link to the details:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Republican_Calendar
This was partially due to the French influences imbedded in my original version of Crieste, and also due to the fact that it didn't require any work on my part.
Still, I think I like yours better - much more "fantasy-based", if that makes any sense.

Gee, you know, in all the years I've played D&D I don't think we've ever used days or months!
We'll meet him in two days.
It's spring time.
I think that's as detailed as we've ever gotten. Never thought about it before. Besides, with my group, no one cares. "How many days before we kill monsters and loot the lair?" That sums it up for us.
