21 Crossbow Salute to the Goodman Games Fan Forums

They say that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone, and they also say that all good things must come to an end, so I guess that we all must eventually know what good things we've got...or something.
I'm sad to see the GG forums go but also thankful that they existed as, like the DCC RPG itself, they helped me to cross over from merely being curious about the world of TTRPGs to being involved in it.
I once introduced myself here: https://goodman-games.com/forums/viewto ... 15#p121415
I once wrote a review of Mark Tasaka's Greenleaf series here which he very kindly reached out to me about, and I still haven't gotten back to him, but I will: https://goodman-games.com/forums/viewto ... 2&p=121557
And I once agitated for the promised release of "almost completely written"/"in playtesting" Metal Gods of Ur-Hadad #4-6 here, which I always felt a little badly about, but OTOH running away with over $7K of DCC RPG fan money isn't cool: https://goodman-games.com/forums/viewto ... 8&p=123470
Those and many other posts stand out to me from my time here. I came into DCC pretty late in its initial boom (2018), but I'm glad to have caught part of this wave. A big thanks to the mods and everyone else involved in running these forums these many years!
