Post by N'Haaz-aua » Thu Mar 13, 2008 5:04 am

what would it take to get some Gg art work on cafe press? Any downside? maybe some of the old shirts too? http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/sell/

Torgo! Torgo! Torgo! I need a replacement.

But seriously, there is plenty of great artwork. Imagine a Erol Otis print! That would be a big deal (if he would consent).

The Devil Lich poster springs to my mind!

Or anything by Erol Otus, really. Or from the other classic artists. Or the new artists....

...Sorry, I meant this to be helpful, but it became rather pear-shaped...

I bet that Torgo would be a good start and I bet a lot of people havent seen it. It would need to be slightly different because I doubt they have the same color shirt, but that would maintain the uniqueness of the original. Maybe use that as a test?

A Torgo shirt would be pretty sweet. I never got a chance to pick up one of the originals. :(

And a shirt with any of the Erol Otus or Jeff Dee covers would be great as well. Maybe "Vault of the Dragon Kings"?

I want the cover to Etherscope on a Teeshirt
or at least the pic with the guy in the scope point
Over 30 years spent gaming, all sorts of systems, feel free to ask me anything, no guarantees I will have an answer.

Here, here! Cafe Press is the way to go for custom print jobs like this -- I've had very good success as both a customer and a vendor there.

Ideally, since it's virtually free to operate your store at Cafe Press, you could offer t-shirts of every single DCC cover or specific cover/prints of your favorite visuals/logos/items... And getting to recapture classics like the Torgo or "I Got Wasted By The Devil Lich" t-shirts would be an awesome chance for newer fans to really immerse themselves in all the gaming goodness here.

And I've got to say, getting t-shirts with Erol Otus art would be especially tasty -- Vault of the Dragon Kings, Legends are Made Not Born, The Sunless Garden or Mysteries of the Drow... Tres Chic.

And to add even more gaming goodness -- offer T-shirts from the ultra-rare and almost immediately out of print German and 1E products.
Crypt of the Devil Lich, Dungeon Interludes, The Mask of Death, Adventure Begins, Vault of the Dragon Kings, the Power Gamers Wizard Strategy Guide, The Adventure Continues, Palace in the Wastes and PhoenixCrawl Open
