Re: Upcoming Modules for Transylvanian Adventures
So a magazine (potentially an e-zine as well) that functions like Dungeons but for DCC RPG? I'd be down for that. Did you have a publisher/distributor in mind? There is Crawl already, but I'm assuming that this would be a lot larger? You know, I'd be down for helping publish a thing like this, and ...

Re: Need advice with magic and stuff for current game.
1. You may have been too easy on him, because you need to be 5th level, and have the 3rd level spell, Write Magic, to create scrolls (pg 364). But it's too late now, and it's best to consistent over judgement calls like that. 2. Good call. Keep it random, if he wants to purposely misfire, make him r...

AWESOME.
I really need to put together a personal book of tables. This would go right in it.

Re: In the Prison of the Squid Sorcerer now available!
Haven't found a use for straight up e-book/epub (not PDF) at the table. Exactly. I'm the opposite. I find that reading and bookmarking an epub is a zillion times easier than a PDF, and much faster too. I can't reading PDFs on my laptop, even way less on my tablet. Especially when they're 8.5x11. If...

Re: "DC 30 Strength check"
That DC 30 strength check is meant to be "Impossible" but not impossible. But you can always use the d20 rule of assistance gives a +2, or use cumulative checks for multiple folks. Either work fine. The point is that a single person can't really do it, but they sure as heck can try.

Consider just posting them on a blog, or google docs. Downloading from 4shared is tedious and seems very spam/malware-ish.

Re: DCC RPG this Saturday in Pasadena
Yeah, I love to camp. Where did you have in mind Dak? Middle of the Mojave somewhere, I have a couple places in mind. Early Spring or Late Fall would be best. It's WAY TOO HOT in the summer, and WAY TOO COLD in the winter... I like the idea of a rundown hotel somewhere too, I just may do both. We'l...

Re: DCC RPG this Saturday in Pasadena
Maybe we can plan some sort of Northern Invasion some weekend this summer and road trip it down there  . It wouldn't be a world tour without some fans travelling from show to show heh If you did that, I'd plan something good. Even find couches for folks to sleep on, etc. My calendar is get...

Wow, that's amazing. I've completely missed out on Crawl but would like to order them all in one shipment now. Does anyone know if it's possible to order the entire back catalogue? Or do I have to order each issue individually? Hi, and yes. Just paypal, google wallet me the correct amount of money,...

Re: Links to DCC RPG Resources, updated 6/21
With the World Tour http://www.goodman-games.com/worldtour.html getting underway, it would be great to see some table tents for public play that would include the player's name, character's name, and maybe an awesome looking DCCRPG logo. If I had the graphics skills I would make one myself, but sad...

There's always that "Non-Traditional Classes" issue coming up...  Yup, I'm down, but that sh*t aint gonna write itself. heh. *hint-hint* For what they are, I think they're solid. Personally I'm a core-class kind of guy, I've never played anything but fighters, clerics and ...

Re: Crawl! no.6 Classic Class Collection! Now on Sale!
I was going to order from the site (google) but had a couple questions: 1) Does the $3.95 include the shipping cost? Seems low. The print item and shipping is less than $4.00? 2) How is it shipped? Is the booklet shipped inside a protective mailing package or is the booklet stamped and mailed as is...

Re: Non-DCC materials that would suit the feel of DCC?
It seems that there is a lot of stuff already out there that could fairly easily be converted to use with DCC... but I'm specifically wondering what would fit the weird/gonzo feel it captures so well. Forgotten Realms seems all wrong to me... but what about the Planescape stuff? The Underdark? How ...
