Re: 2012: Transylvanian Adventures & The Transylvanian Grimo

Oh man, I was already looking at running The Winter Home on the 31st...now there is a chance of the full monty being released in PDF right around then? *phew* I'm pretty darn excited :P It's also my plan! Since Thursday is my regular game day, and most folks I know don't have kids, we're playing! A...

Re: VOID HUNTERS: Seventies Sci-Fi Gaming...

Hi Maxwell, First off, that guy is just bitter. Don't take it personally, you create, he's a critic. I know what I'd rather be. I'm looking forward to this. I'm been working on adding Sci-fi to my DCC RPG for a while. I've collected a ton of OSR Sci-Fi RPGs, and have been reading them all. But there...

Re: Crawl!....?

Art is 99% done (and it's awesome.) Writing is 99% done. Editing is... that's where we're stuck. My editor is having some health issues related to his eyes, so it's affecting his ability to edit, but he doing his best. I hope to start the layout and finalize the art, but any additional writing that ...

Nothing wrong with a D3 or D2 deed attempt with a little luck on the side.
Elves are super diverse and pretty powerful in the game as-is. Wouldn't do it. Buffing one class may nerf another.

Re: Crawl! fanzine #7 is out now!

Sorry for the delay guys. Vacation, smaller trips, other (paying) projects and some hardware problems put a damper on progress. The original artist flaked on me, but I was able to recruit someone great (and part of the zine scene) to do the next cover. There is some editing to be done and a bunch mo...

send me an email with your subscription info. I haven't figured out a way to send PDFs automatically, so I'm doing it manually right now.

Has this subsumed CRAWL! ? if so, does my sub transfer over? No way. Crawl! will continue, business as usual. This would be to Crawl! that Dungeon would be to Dragon. The DCC RPG Magazine subject line there is probably misleading, Silmarillius, you should probably change it to DCC RPG Adventu...

Re: More Adventures...? A query.

Thanks guys, all this info helps a lot. It basically tells me there is a demand for more adventures, though "1-page" adventures aren't as desired as I thought, there is some interest. It's honestly the only format that I can fit into a regular issue of Crawl! My plan is to release an issue...

Re: Appendix N healing. Or how to get better without a Cleri

I allow my players to burn stamina to heal HD.

One HD per point burned.

During combat, burning stamina is permanent and takes an action. During downtime, it takes one turn, uninterrupted and it's only temporary and can be healed through rest or magic.

More Adventures...? A query.

tl;dr Would you be interested in regularly released adventure compilation? Would you be interested in one-page dungeons in every issue of Crawl? With the possibility of a compilation down the line? Both? End tl;dr I realize there are two camps, those that DIY and make their own adventures/settings/...
