Re: Adventures with Purple Duck Games
When we get to the larger ones there will likely be Print on Demand (POD) options available. Our first few are two short for that kind of option although once the second release comes out I'm going to look at combining the first two or first three as a POD product. I'm definitely hoping a print ver...

Re: DunDraCon 37 (2013)
I will be at DunDraCon (something like my 21st year attending) and eager to participate in and to run games of DCC. Look for the big bearded guy with glasses....HAH! I know that is half the attendees, but not too many have tattoos of polyhedron dice on their arms. :D ...maybe I should consider addin...

Re: DCC RPG Alternate Cover #2
Hmmmm. . . .I'm not sure how I can justify owning three core rulebooks. I know what you mean. I already have both the standard and limited versions but the art is just so damn awesome I'm going to have to get one! Better start saving already... Technically, they aren't the same book when you consid...

Re: Regaining Luck
You are stealing my thunder, I'm hoping to have a "Roguelike" module for all to playtest soon :P NetHack has a lot of ways to gain Luck during the game, which affects a lot of mechanics. Some thoughts on adjustments to Luck, taken from http://nethackwiki.com/wiki/Luck: -2 Break a mirror. (...

Re: Attack Modifier Table and Blindess
That's actually a pretty interesting idea there Pesky. Although I think in that case the attacker has enough of their senses available to them to see their surroundings but not the target. Where while in total darkness you can't even watch your step. ;) So, yes, there should also be an entry on the ...

Re: Attack Modifier Table and Blindess
That is certainly a fair response and I think I will still utilize the modifiers and conditions from pg. 89 but really emphasize to my fellow players the importance of having a plan for when the lights go out. (psst looking at you demi-humans to relight the torch)

Attack Modifier Table and Blindess
Hey guys, we had a great DCC game yesterday and only a few minor items cropped up while playing that we were a little unsure how to resolve but I think the game was a real hoot. One item in particular that came up was how to handle PC's in the dark? Essentially the Lantern got snuffed and the player...

Re: Upcoming rulebooks?
It seemed to me that the area of ritual spells and their effects were eluded to within the core rulebook..,I'm not saying any of the characters is our budding campaign are ready for them but I'd love to see some in the annual.
