Re: Being Deployed
Are you aware that PDF copies of Purple Sorcerer Game adventures are free to soldiers running things for other soldiers? You just have to shoot me an email at info at purplesorcerer dot com, and I'll get you set up. My Dad was a proud submariner, and providing the adventures doesn't begin to express...

Re: What are your top 10 DCC third-party products?
Thank you! I'm very glad you like it: I know the premium hardback costs quite a bit to print, so I'm thrilled when folks find it a worthy investment.
Hope you have a great time running the adventures.

Re: Advice needed: school club with variable attendance
I designed the Sunken City, with its central mustering point in the Great City and Sending Stones that transported parties into the mists of the swamp, precisely to address the issues you described. As others have mentioned, if you have a central place where novice adventures gather, and some conven...

Re: Perilous Pantry as a First-level adventure
I'm guessing 6 first level characters should work just about right as is, especially if you're tweaking the danger level as you go. I would judge how the first fight goes, and adjust all the early encounters accordingly. The two big battles toward the end is where you'll need to stay on your feet. T...

Thank you xmiyux! When I say I'm thrilled that folks enjoy one of our adventures, I'm not exaggerating. It's a tremendous feeling, and I'm very proud of what David has put together.
And Daniel, just about every one of your suggestions made it in. Thank you for your generosity in both time and spirit!

The Carnival of the Damned is Now Available!
At long, long, long last, I'm thrilled to announce the available of David Baity's The Carnival of the Damned in both print and PDF! David has created something special: polished at conventions like Gary Con and Dragon Con, the adventure sports 143 digest-sized pages of clown-filled creepiness that c...

Re: Your favorite form-fillable PDF DCC character sheet?
Hmmm, for some reason I missed your email. I'm guessing the reason their aren't too many form-fillables out there is because creating them is as fun as experiencing a root canal. Getting Acrobat to stick to a tab order is an ordeal... I've tried to block out the experience. ;) Good luck in your sear...

Re: Peril On The Purple Planet - Campaign?
The adventure itself has some sandbox elements that make it more than simply a dungeon crawl... but it's the stuff in the box set that really makes it a campaign setting: A 64 page companion with all sorts of details, a 12-page funnel adventure, a player's guide, and a tomb book with 5 mini adventur...

Re: What does Google have that these boards doesn't?
Get off my lawn Google! :) In all seriousness, I know the Goodman Boards will remain a valuable resource, but the reason that there is an order of magnitude more DCC goodness per day going on at g+ is because it provides all sorts of features that a forum can't, in a slick format that many folks enj...

Re: What does Google have that these boards doesn't?
For many of us Google+ is essential for sharing gaming info. The Goodman Forums are a wonderful exception to the rule, but many forums have grown toxic, and the ability to control who is in your circles on Google+ lets you escape the drama, and just focus on the people that share the kind of informa...

Or even extract a couple key rooms from an adventure and wrap a little story around it. (Perhaps rooms 1-4 of Portal Under the Stars, with the threats chopped down a bit to suit the smaller party, and the object of their mini-quest in the grasp of fell Ssissuraaaggg.)
