Re: Master Dungeons M2: Curse of the Kingspire Cover
Does she ever! I think she must be the D&D equivalent of a supermodel. She has more covers than any other sorceress I know. Out of curiosity does anyone know of another D&D picture that has been recycled for several covers? No but I would love to see this one used again: http://upload...

60 Minutes on Dungeons & Dragons (1985)
An interesting time-capsule of the mid 80's witch hunt of Dungeons & Dragons. Another example of people looking for scape-goats to blame societal problems on. Includes Gygax interview.

Re: Late DCC's
Those shows were a little bit before my time (born in '81), but I remember being little and watching reruns of Land of the Lost and even thinking that was bizzare.
And speaking of Land of the Lost, doesn't his remind you of a Sleestak:

Re: Dragonborn Handbook
It really is a great store. The area in the back for game-play with all the tables and such is pretty big compared to any other game stores I've been to. If you ever are in the area to check it out let me know and I'll buy you a coffee.
Oh and thanks for taking care of that!

Re: Dragonborn Handbook
I went to my local flgs and they said they had sold out of the copies they had, so I came back a week later and I was told that the store owner placed the book on "special order only" status, meaning they will not keep the book on the shelf but only order it if it is requested. This kind o...

Re: Scions of Punjar and Wyvern Mountain?
I know. Now Wyvern Mountain is slated for December. I'm hoping it is because they have completely retooled the map, since the map in Forges was way too small.Keraptis wrote:Any updates on these guys?????
I still haven't seen these in my local gaming store, and its the middle of November.

Re: Master Dungeons M2: Curse of the Kingspire Cover
What matters to me is if the cover art is actually relevant to the adventure, but I do agree, new art from the old artists would be the optimal choice. Larry Elmore is still doing new stuff.

Harley must be proud. That's some very high quality looking product right there. I've never played a Cthulhu game before, but that may just change now.

Awesome. Some of the battles in Forges were quite memorable, like the ogre zombie hulks. My group had a good time with that.

Re: I miss Goodman 3.5 DCCs...
They have been awesome for my gaming group. We just finished Forges of the Mountain King and it was a blast. I ran Sellswords of Punjar when it first came out and it was a lot of fun also. Now I'm just awaiting the follow-up to each of those modules.
