If I were an artist, and felt passionately about Etherscope and comics, the best thing I could do for myself would be to sit down at home, draw out a dozen pages, ink/color & scan, and then submit them to MGate/GGames, asking for permission to publish them on line. People don't get that you don'...

I don't have an exact date yet -- it depends on when the printer finishes it. They should have it done by next Monday, then I'll be able to time the PDF and print releases of #27 and #28. So "a couple weeks"... can'twaitcan'twaitcan'twaitcan'twaitcan'twaitcan'twaitcan'twaitcan'twait can't...

Event Full!?

I'm the new guy, so maybe I should have seen this coming, but it's looking like many of the Goodman Games GenCon events are already filled up. (And they only opened at noon!) Wow. :) Bad news for me, but good news for the line, I assume, which means more modules and adventures in the long run. Which...

That vampire has killed more than her share of PCs. Nasty, nasty, nasty encounter.

Sometimes we PCs just have to run away.

GenCon Signing

Ed Greenwood, Monte Cook and ....... I've been eagerly awaiting my chance to sign up for GenCon events and found this document. (Go to the very bottom of the list.) http://www.gencon.com/files/Indy06/SHO-Authors.pdf I assume he's not the only one. Are there any other DCC authors that will be doing ...

Deck of Fates - DCC 17.5

Goodman and Company -

Hail and well met! Thank you for another great crawl.

War of the Witch Queen has a deck of cards as a player handout. May I have your permission to create a full sized deck?

A rough list of things to expect: -Spells, Magic items, Culture-specific masterwork items; -More adventure hooks than you can shake a GM screen at. Every location was written with adventure in mind; -A world that is vast, sweeping and mythic in scope, and that needs to be explored; -Gods, gods, god...

Gnaws on foot.

These modules can't come out soon enough, esp. Into the Wilds. I saw they were at the printer. Does that mean that they will be out in early March, or should we expect late March?

How about an extended art gallery? Throw us a bone here!

(Please.)

IMHO, the Wilderlands is only truly useful if you already a Wilderlands player/collector. The maps are black and white, the box doesn't come with any adventures, and the the books are "just" encounter keys, as in "hex AB/123: 3 monstrous spiders, large; treasure: 310 sp and a jade key...

Artists at GenCon!

Our own Doug Kovacs will be in attendance! Woot!

You can download the list of artists attending GenCon Indy here:

Clearly not finalized but they'll update it as they go.

Go forth and buy Mr. Kovacs' art!

Thank you Mister Goodman!

Not to press my luck, but are there any plans for a Witch Queen trilogy? I'm dying to assault the Dread Mines of the Mountain King. But that bugger in his place.

Okay, kids. That pointy-hatted wizard is insanely well sculpted. And the lizard men?! (Those guys are going into my Legacy campaign, pronto.) Old school, new school, I don't care. They're just a really good minis. The gestures are perfect. I know that the minis are sold unpainted (and that posting i...

*ROTFL* Trained monkeys? I'm not sure my players will ever live down the ignominy of being slaughtered by trained monkeys.

Can’t wait to buy this one! The first DCC Hardcover?

Yes, please.

Will all the authors be attending GenCon? I’d love to get all their signatures on the inside cover.

I second Akrasia! #28 ... I've been waiting for this module ever since Keep on the Boderlands went out of date/print. O, TSR, why did you forsake us? No matter, Goodman Games will fill the gap! I read that printing issues were holding up the releases. Any chance of a PDF pre-release for us devotees?...

If Wizards goes crazy and 4th Edition D&D isn't OGL, maybe ALL the new DCCs will be for Castles and Crusades.

Dungeons Castles and Crusades.

I, for one, certainly miss the old school settings. Faerun is great, if you want to play second fiddle to the Big Guys (or else plan on rolling up an epic level character), Eberron is cool for a certain pulp feel .... but where's the classic setting? Where's my swords and sorcery? You know: Knights ...

Casting my vote that I'm excited for a cohesive, unified world, but that must have been challenging to weave together. I mean, most the DCCs were one shots, with no thought given towards the greater whole.

Sounds like a Dungeon Master's Dream/Nightmare. :)
