moriarty777 -- Glad you're enjoying Saga. It is a great story that should provide your PC's with considerable challenge and your players with many hours of fun. Saga was a hoot to work on, and getting to work with Harley on a project was a good learning experience and tremendous opportunity. tacojoh...

Re: Gen Con 2007 Special: Saga of the Witch Queen
I just stumbled onto Harley Stroh's blog ...looks like there is a 4th installment ("...the final, dramatic finale") planned to wind up Saga of the Witch Queen, if I read it correctly: http://choosedeath.blogspot.com/ NICE! Someday, perhaps, we will have the chance to tell more of the Witc...

Honestly, how much skull sweat does it take to pull the appropriate terms out of the SRD and short stat block things? ^_~` You're funny, Peter! I don't think I ever said it was hard to do a 3.x to 1E conversion. I mean, if I can do it, how hard can it be? :D :D But it does take some time, an...

I'm curious about the 1E conversion process. Does anyone know if just the core 1E books were used to make the conversion or if other books like the 1E Unearthed Arcana were used as well (for spells, classes, the new version of the paladin, etc...) From what I understand, its more the SRD was used f...

Looking forward to getting the whole 1E bridged version in my hands. Have you considered doing a unique 1E adventure as part of the regular monthly DCC line? Or perhaps an OSRIC adventure? I'm not talking about a conversion of an existing module but an all new adventure. Kind of a way of injecting ...

En World review follow-up
From Grimstaff’s review on En World: [snip] The Ugly: Gamers have been complaining about hard to read gamebooks for years now, and no one's listening to us, so I don't know why I bother, but yeah, the print is hard to read sometimes with the fancy watermarked pages, blah blah blah. Re: GenCon - anyone arriving early?
I'll be arriving early and playing some games at the Ram on Wednesday. Anyone else planning to arrive early? Yup, several of us from our regualr group (including Grodog) are traveling on Wednesday. We'll be arriving mid-afternoon, and probably will be interested in some pre-con gaming on Wednesday....

Well met JediOre -- I'm excited you've started another DCC story thread for all of us to read. Your journaling makes it feel like we're along for the ride! I'm kind of jealous of you WRT your JediWife. That is so great that she games with you and Ragnar1965. I really cannot get TacoWife (or Mrs. Tac...
