The module will "debut" at GenCon in play-format only -- after GenCon we'll add some fun notes about running the tournament and then format the content for publication (securing art, handouts, maps, all that good stuff)... I'm sure there will also be plenty of interesting posts and comment...

This year's 2005 GenCon DCC Tournament Module, Vault of the Dragon Kings , centers around exploring an ancient dragon city, lost to time somewhere within snow-capped mountains in the high altitude... While not as large a civilization or traditional city structure as most humanoids, a sense of explor...

Is there any sort of fan submission form? I recall such a form for the Origins awards, where you could simply enter in your favorite games within each category, but don't recall any sort of interface or call for votes from the ENnies.

I was really hoping that Crypt of the Devil Lich would get nominated, as an homage to the classic Tomb of Horrors, and for being such a hit at last year's GenCon... But getting Dragonfiend Pact nominated is awesome... Kudos to Goodman Games and Chris Doyle.

LOL... It's a fine line between rushing to meet a deadline and taking the time to be thorough. While I certainly can't promise 100% accuracy, that's what I'm striving to provide. And I can virtually guarantee that folks will find something to dislike or object to with the characters -- after all, yo...

fathead & all -- I finally got the last tidbits of feedback in from the very last playtest groups to die in the (er, "run through the") module and am working on integrating all the comments. Once all the playtest feedback has been processed, the character sheets and other related conte...

I was going to recommend DCC 14: Dungeon Interludes for your plans, as the individal chapters are short and work perfectly as "transitions" between larger campaign elements. And while the individual chapters are linked via an overarching plot contrivance, it can be played up or down to the...

Yes, a wererat at low levels can be incredibly dangerous -- that's why we made sure to include some workarounds... Clever groups should be able to gain a significant advantage through several different approaches. Barring that, there are some simple suggestions for scaling the encounter to soften th...

I think many of the lower level adventures are playable by very small (2-3 character) groups... Once you get into the higher levels, versatility is key, as one class may be ineffective against certain encounters. But with lower levels (up to 10 or so), every class has the opportunity to contribute t...

I'm reading the adventure now. It is quite good. I can truly see this being a connecting thread for the various DCC modules. Thanks for the kind comments! I really poured a lot of myself into this, and the overall storyline of the module incorporates the overarching plot elements from one of my hom...

The quality of the maps you guys keep putting out just get better and better!! I was really pleased with the maps from DCC 13: Crypt of the Devil Lich (especially for the Entrance, which I designed), but the maps for the Defiled Sanctuary Ben put together for DCC 14 (my first 'solo' project for Good...

Here, here! I really like Jason's stylized illustrations, especially his use of line hatching for shading. When I got my copy of DCC #14: Dungeon Interludes, I was excited to see all the great illustrations inside my very first module. The tar roper oozing up over the gnome on p. 58 is great, and ha...

DCC 14: Interludes Questions & Answers

I wanted to start a fresh new thread about DCC 14: Dungeon Interludes specifically to answer any questions readers and GMs might have about the overarching adventure or individual scenarios. I also wanted to take the time to point out a minor error that I didn't catch the first time through. [Very *...

The Wizard Strategy Guide, the long-awaited sequel to the Warrior Strategy Guide, is scheduled for July.
Whooo-hoooo!!!!

That is awesome news indeed, despite my bias toward the product. I'm really looking forward to seeing this guide come out, and can't wait to hear people's reactions to it.

I'll gladly plug DCC 14: Interludes, which I just happened to write :P . What a coincidence!! It's set up to be a series of "one shot" or shorter adventures that can be sprinkled in between all your current campaign adventuring, but still has an overarching storyline to help weave all thes...
