I just fnished my first read. And wow... just wow. I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but this exceeds those expectations. I love the art, the layout and the graphics.

PlagueLord wrote:Will this be released as a pdf first?
I second that question. When can we expect a PDF release. I have pdf and hard copies of the Dungeon Crawls, so I don't see a reason why I wouldn't do the same with the setting.

Good question Akrasia. They would probably work really well together. In fact the Asylum would make an excellent addition to Freeport, right outside the city, or perhaps on a lone island nearby.

Cage of Delirium is an excellent read so far. I've decided to run it this all Hallow's Eve. :)

Hopefully sooner rather than later. Would someone with the Boxed Set care to point out where Into the Wilds is located on the Known Realms World Maps.

Any more news on the status of DCC? My Local Game Store hasn't heard anything about DCC 35 yet, but said if they were in customs it should be fairly quick now...

I'm getting anxious, I'm ready to devour this boxed set :)

since gnomes tend to insinuate themselves into many societies.
I had to move out of a neighborhood because of them. They kept lounging around on my lawn all day. It was a nightmare.

Thanks Joeseph. That is a great look at the map and relative positions of the modules. Is that lake at the northern edge near Dundraville by chance? :)

I really like that. And considering that these are DCCs, I've read them front to back a few times. :) I'm a hopeless fanboy.

I bet those were fun times!

Cage of Delirium and Belly of the Beast In Stores

Hello fellow DCC fans. I just got back from my FLGS and was able to pickup Cage of Delirium and Belly of the Beast. As I'm typing this I am listening to the chilling sounds of the Midnight Syndicate music that came with what so far looks like a delightfuly eerie adventure set in the ruins of an insa...

I just got Transmuster's Last Touch as well, another top notch product. The map is very good and so far its a good read and sounds like a blast to run.

How you guys keep churning this stuff out while keeping that old style feel is beyond me, but kudos to you for doing it.

Proud DCC Fanboy :)

I'm going to say no. The first interlude is brutal man. The first rat encounter can even be tough, but the ooze is really a killer if your players aren't smart.

Blood Whisker is no push over either.

I really don't think they'd make it. Perhaps you could throw in some henchmen or npcs to help them?

Some talk over at EnWorld about DCC World. I took the liberty of posting some of the world descriptions posted in this thread. So far only a couple of people have balked at the price. Most seem very interested.

Looks incredible guys. The maps look incredible and the style of the boxed set cover has that classic feel.

Those two adventures look incredible as well. Between The Adventure Begins, this boxed set and the rest of the DCC series, a DM has enough material to run his games for years to come.

I don't know, I played Greyhawk as a kid and ran Forgotten Realms when I got older and I still hold Gygax and Greenwood in high esteem. I got to shake both of their hands at GenCon 2000 and thank them for so many wonderful and memorable weekends. So, don't sell yourself short!
