sometimes i give a npc deed die and one or more signature deeds if i want them to be memorable in some way.

my personal favorite is TA that combines dcc randomnes with lethal hysterics of the actual firefight. in a way it reminded me of the unknown armies firearms rules.

i have slowly developed quite a dislike for leveling up during any given 'module' or 'active play'. now it seems to me that it should be 'downtime' activity. cue in montage of a hero practicing kung fu.

you can burn luck for any roll. take note that halfling also rolls on 'short' table III and just like a thief he would be able to regenerate burnt luck quickly.
