Kylessa looks to the wall:
“Mara says she can get me over the wall- if one of you has some rope maybe I can tie it to something so we can all get over and take him by surprise?”.

Re: The Corpse That Love Built - PbP
If the others are amenable, he'll ready his arms, light his lantern, hang it from his pack and head out. Hodin is amenable. He nods his approval while cleaning clay off his sword, then scabbards it. Kylessa huffs and stows Mara and time he clay in her pack: “You don’t look like either of you’re of ...

Re: The Corpse That Love Built - PbP
Kylessa carves off a pound or so of clay, wrapping it in anything she can find on hand, and stuffs it into her pack for later use.
”Are we going out in the middle of this storm? Mara doesn't like to get wet...”
...also, I lost my best damaging spell, lol.

Kylessa replies:
”Yes, yes! If you’re gonna go see this doctor I’m going to! I wanna see what other toys and tricks he may have...”
Can she carve off a bit of the clay that forms them, or tell anything about what they are?

Kylessa smiles, her fingers reaching out toward the strange creatures as she intones again...
Magic Missle spellcheck 10 -Lost. Failure.
...her eyes widen and smile fades as the spell fizzles out! She scolds her doll: "Don't be shy NOW, Mara!"

Re: The Corpse That Love Built - PbP
Thanks! I have three characters who survived a funnel. Should I move one of them into level 2 from level 1? Or would it be better to roll one up / have one created at Purple Sorcerer? What kind of equipment etc would a character created in this way be expected to have? I just boosted my level 1 sur...

Hail GB! Maybe you'll recall this monster you created: Little Kylie (C) Orphan - pint-sized problem child... her small frame and baby face give her a younger, more innocent appearance than she's earned, and marks her as the spitting image of the daughter Gunnar lost to war in the Frozen North. Now c...

Re: Let's Talk About Spellburn
With the nature of some adventures being things that happen to or around the characters (as opposed to the quests they initiate) I often roll a die to see how much downtime occurred between just for this purpose. Burn all ya like, but the monsters won't wait till your 100% to come callin!

Except for the point of Spellburn required for the patron bond ...... I give it in the form of the donated intellectual property, while as well as that of the allied casters who submitted ideas for the project! This casting is enhanced by the blood, sweat, and ink of many! Now to cast it in an area...

Font question
Hail- hard at work on that much-delayed module I ‘m writing. I have the header and text fonts to match the core rule book, but does anyone know what initial/drop cap font is used? Also, since I ‘m making a free funnel, am I overlooking any etiquette or legal issues? Many thanks!

Re: Fairytale encounters
Here's a few sketches of stuff I'm working on- just brainstorming- so. There are lists, tables, a few altered spells, new race/occupation options and more! I hope this will be something can be used to inject/explain some weirdness in your campaign world- or just be a fun one-and-done! I am literally...

This is actually stated in the book, as is the clause about changing it!l'amour wrote:I believe the characters are literate unless they have intelligence score of 5 or lower (or for some other roleplay reason I suppose). No reason you can't change it to suit your idea of the world though.

That's a great point about the multicolored dice- you have all those weird dice color coded! I usually like the "complete set" look, but ease of use is a thing!

Re: Funnel Game: MUTATIS MUNDI....
It would be a zero. Somehow, Brother Mordecai manages to avoid anything sharp or jagged and rolls unharmed to the base of the pit. Better! Oddly enough, the D&D Dice Roller I use on my laptop uses a minimum of 1. Mordecai landed miraculously unharmed, perhaps cushioned by a smoldering sack of o...
