I like that there are different MH types. It gives a progression for starting players. Begin with kobolds or goblins, not Bugbears.
It also gives a reason why they do not really work together. But to each their own.

Re: Keep on the Borderlands, Unknown- reprints ? DCC
FWIW: http://www.goodman-games.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=48060 Awesome. Looking forward to see what you come up with. I was thinking that each cave( orcs, goblins, etc) could be tackled as a separate mini-adventure. Along with the previous mentioned Cob traps for the spiders and Vile worm...

I'm definitely looking forward to more information on the game. I'm a backer of course. I want Pure Humans to be an attractive option in the game. I can't wait.

Re: Mutant Crawl Classics Q&A with Creator Jim Wampler
Thanks for posting this. Im wondering how Pure Humans will be. They were usually seen as the weakest class since they didnt have mutations. Im curious how they will work. Mutant Future RPG had Pure Humans get better stats(Cha, Int, Con) and HP, along with greater skill with tech, and better chance o...

Re: Funnel Idea...
Reminds me a bit of the old adventure Dungeon of the Slave Lords. Or one of those, I forget the name. The players are prisoners left with no equipment. Quite a shock for players used to all those nifty magic items.
Cool stuff.

The Kickstarter page says the pdf will be available before the normal official release. Still waiting on how much before.

Thieves World
I was looking through my shelf of books and came across several of Robert Asprin- Thieves World books. The setting seems like it would make a great campaign, like the Lankhmar setting.

Re: Journey to the Center of Aereth. Love it.
Id like to see something along the lines of Underdark, drow, Kuo-toans.
Descent into the depths, Shrine of the Kuo-toans, Vault of the Drow.
Looks like nothing like that for DCC RPG. (some for classic crawls tho)

Re: Keep on the Borderlands, Unknown- reprints ? DCC
Id love to play this adventure again, maybe at Unseen Servant, but Id still probably use these rules, instead of 5E : http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/110274/DD-Basic-Set-Rulebook-B-X-ed-Basic?manufacturers_id=44 Though , using Dcc Rpg might be fun too. Start characters as 0 levels from The Keep o...

Can anyone give more info on this? (besides the regular adventure blurb on back cover) Is it Underdark themed or Jules Verne Center of Earth theme?
Id love to see an Underdark, Drow, Kuo-toan, type adventure.

I've always liked the idea that the Caves... Well, that's just genius. :D Sigged! (To be fair, I may spend a bit TOO much time thinking about KOTB in general. ) Lol. Is there such a thing? That adventure has a lot of good memories for old time gamers. Even though this adventure isn't really i...

Re: Keep on the Borderlands, Unknown- reprints ? DCC
I don't own "Return" but I have the others. As long as we're discussing some of the Hackmaster stuff, "Frandor's Keep" (the HM Basic module they released with their newer edition) has some nice bits in it too. They removed a little of the parody elements, but it's still fun. Tha...

Re: Keep on the Borderlands, Unknown- reprints ? DCC
Sure they do, but it doesnt seem necessary. Im sure WoC could have done it without them. Its a bit disappointing to me that GG didnt put their own spin on the project. A DCC "In Search of the Unknown" and "Keep" would have been fun. Being an old school fan, i will definitely pick...

Re: Keep on the Borderlands, Unknown- reprints ? DCC
My guess consists of two reasons: 1) While one could totally "riff" on B1 & B2 in a DCC way, the modules aren't very DCC in vibe in their original state. 2) Since WOTC owns the modules, I expect they want them for their own system. I can understand that they are not really in the DCC ...
