Entering the tunnels--which proved to be a little bit more complicated than the party thought--they found a third corpse: one more raider. Unfortunately the party didn't search the body so they missed out the "vial of silver sheen". Pressing on they found themselves in a tunnel system made...

This year it's USA-only. But we're looking into ways to get it in at least Canada and possibly other markets for next year.
*sniff* Okay... thanks! I will keep my hopes up! :(

FreeRPG Day - outside the U.S.?

I was wondering whether there is any chance at all to get hold of the goodies you guys are dishing out on FREE RPG DAY if you happen to live outside the USA. It is a little hard for me to show up in a participating game store... So, is there still hope for the module-hungry fans across the Bi...

From the ones I have DMed (or read) so far, I'd say:

DCC 2 - Vault of Tsathzar Rho (for it's cool deeper levels)

DCC 0 - Legends Are Made, Not Born (for it's different approach)

DCC 29 - The Adventure Begins (for it's sheer versatility and as a resource for some cool, cool ideas)

Let's continue the exploits of my "outsider" group. After they descended the slope, leaving the hills behind them, they came across a small brook. Tusk, the ranger, noticed that a lot of sheep or something similar must have come to the brook to drink - he found their tracks. Some wa...

Yeah, isn't it? I do like both games, actually. D&D 3.5 and C&C. Both have their merits. Both have their flaws. For me, C&C works just wonderful in "re-mastering" my old Mystara campaign! It's a blast! But I do love to play the DCC modules with the new 3.5 edition. It's just im...

Actually, I did notice on one or two occasions, but thought nothing of it... in the back of my mind there must have been this little voice saying "well, that's cool, they actually use 20 year old art!" ... :) I did notice that you have more than one "old school" D&D artist or...

This sounds like an awesome adventure. I envy your players and look forward to reading more. Also, it was fun trying to translate the Deutsch on your forums. It's cool that you can get DCCs in Germany. But how the devil have you been a fanboy since 1983??!! :) Why, thank you! I will continue the &q...

Goodman Games products in German?

I am not aware whether there are foreign-language versions of Goodman Games products already on the market, but I would like to know if you have thought of it. Since the selection of available adventure modules in German is rather limited (especially for D20) I would like to offer to do translation ...

No, I would not normally allow Spot checks when someone is charging into combat. I do allow Spot checks to notice traps if the PCs advance at a reasonable pace and stating that they are alert and keeping a lookout for potential trouble. But even then most traps are cleverly concealed because else th...

In this, I tried to write an adventure with a living, breathing, thinking NPC cast. The PCs earn their own rewards, and if they choose to behave poorly, it is the world that punishes them, not the GM. Which runs contrary to the "cover blurp" on every DCC, namely "no NPCs that aren't ...

Remember C&C isn't as stat-intensive as how most folks play 3.x, so the GM has a little more "wiggle room" in terms of things like NPCs, spells, and items. Which is EXACTLY what makes this game so appealing to all those fed up with the N-th optional rules sourcebook of 3.x. Plus, you ...

What's in #35 is really just a small piece of a potentially larger pie. In the very least, you can expect some representation of the Dream in a future DCC product. Yeah, everything about The Dream you could read in the GM's Guide just screamed for MORE, MORE, MORE! It'd be very, very cool to have a...

They are from the official WotC supplement SPELL COMPENDIUM. But since this again is just a compendium/collection I can't tell where those domains originally came from.
Yes, I hope they work well. Some are really appropiate, as I pointed out.

I recently added the SPELL COMPENDIUM to my list of D&D books - which I earnestly want to keep at a minimum! But all those additional cleric domains were, for the most part, really cool. When I checked the Gods of Áereth, I also noted that you included one Domain not listed in the core books or ...
