I have made G+ my default gaming resource for DCC, S&W and pretty much any other RPG you want to play. Playing via hangouts is almost flawless (occasional problems, but it's the Internet... whatayagonnado?)

If you think about the rest of Appendix N (and Daniel Bishop's take on elves in his two adventures) you could make a case that elves should SOULburn, rather than spellburn... Perhaps Personality, Luck and... maybe voluntarily take on corruption to boost spell results?

But, I agree, it seems weird.

Funny -- I ran it this weekend with a 0-level funnel leading up to it. The characters have just made it to the actual Frozen in Time part of the adventure, but everyone loved the caveman take.
