Re: RPG Overview #11 The Haunting of Larvik Island
Hey there, thank you so much for posting your review. I know that's a lot of personal time spent reading the adventure and then preparing/shooting/uploading the video. I very much appreciate you spreading the word.

Re: Now Available: Stronghold of the Wood Giant Shaman
Great great adventure, Steven! Thank you, sir! There are many of us that do not live in the matrix and would like a print version of the adventure  and +1 :D ... I've got quotes out to printers as we speak. I'm trying to get them printed in saddle stitch this time vs. perfect bound (like Larv...

Thanks!

DCC RPGers, Fantasy Grounds Virtual Con is hosting Harley Stroh's level 3 adventure The Jeweler That Dealt in Stardust in a couple weeks. You do not need to purchase anything, just download the demo version and Teamspeak (I think) for voice chat. You should look into using Dolby Axon for your games...

Re: Now Available: Stronghold of the Wood Giant Shaman
This sounds like an awesome adventure! I was a bit skeptical when I first read 'a chaotic force lurks behind the scones' but then I realized I just need glasses. It all sounds cool but the catfish troll sounds particularly inspired. This is definitely going on my list of things to buy asap. ...

Now Available: Stronghold of the Wood Giant Shaman PDF/PRINT
These are not your father’s giants… Wood giants—animalistic evolutionary ancestors of hill giants—have emerged from the forests of the Fulthon Mountains to harry and pillage human villages with impunity. Ferocious and feral, they kidnap the weak to sacrifice in their barbaric rituals. Decades ago, ...

2015 World Tour?
Anyone know if there are plans to continue the World Tour program into 2015? I need to actually get behind the screen at some of these cons and my FLGS and start earning some swag.

Re: CelestiCon, Fremont CA (Aug 30, 2014)
Glory, death, and deity disapproval were all in abundance this afternoon as Judge Chris Garner took a motley group through Jobe Bittman‘s excellent Glipkerio’s Gambit . Super fun adventure; Chris did a great job bring the story to life and my comrades were spot on playing their characters to the hil...

Re: Purple Sorcerer Games: Nebin Pendlebrook's Perilous Pant
I ran the adventure for my home group. 4 players, with 4 PCs each. It did take us 2 nights to finish it, but that's only because we play from about 7pm - 10pm and they are notoriously slow. The group had great fun in the adventure and the last couple of encounters lived up the spirit of the funnel w...

Re: What does Google have that these boards doesn't?
In addition to what @tovokas/Jon Marr said about features (see what I did there... tried to tag someone and was not able to do so as that feature doesn't exist on the forums...), for me it's about reach and engagement. For whatever reason, the G+ Community just seems to be awash in folks who will co...

CelestiCon, Fremont CA (Aug 30, 2014)
Just a tip for any Bay Area crawlers, that there's a DCC RPG session happening at CelestiCon in Fremont CA. I'm going to be there rolling some dice as a player. The judge is running Glipkerio's Gambit. Details are here . Would be nice to see any other locals that can make it. I keep thinking I shoul...

Let me know if you guys need any help with playtesting/proofreading/editing/etc. I was so excited when the "Gamma Crawl Classics" community opened up on G+, but, like many open-source type projects, people's Day Job's seem to have gotten into the way of its advancement. Looking forward to ...

Thanks for the plug, Raven_Crowking.
I'd also recommend Doom of the Savage Kings--fabulous adventure with much of the action taking place in and around the small town of Hirot.

Re: What's your prefered initiative tracking method for DCC
I use the Game Mastery board, and actually give it to one of my player's to keep track of so that I can focus on doing all the monster stats behind the screen. It works out pretty well. Obviously you could do something similar with cards and what not, but the player's seem to have fun with the magne...

Re: Getting Players to Buy Books/Dice
How it works in my game: I had the PC's print out the People Them With Monster reference sheets, and bookmark their Crit and Fumble tables so they can find them quickly during game play. I let them borrow my book, and I use the PDF version of rulebook on my laptop. I also create bookmarks for the mo...

Awesome, I hope they have one down at Game Kastle Fremont! Skars, I'm guessing they probably do. One of my good friends--the guy that actually encouraged me to start publishing-- manages that store; he's been pretty good about stocking my material :) If he doesn't have one on hand, I'm certain he'd...
