Re: Aereth and 4E

How can I get a copy of Punjar: The Tarnished Jewel if I'm not attanding any gaming events? Since I'm probably going to use this as my base city and use Sellswords of Punjar as the first adventure, I'd like to get a copy of this..... Hey xredjasonx, I asked the same question and the answer was &quo...

Re: Aereth and 4E

(Nice avatar. :) ) Yes, we have plans to update Áereth, but more importantly, the release will include a sizable amount of new setting material, so that you're not just receiving rehashed Áereth 4e. //H Harley, Can you tell us a bit more about the upcoming 4E Áereth? How will it be presented? Boxed...

Aereth and 4E

I am sure this has been asked and answered somewhere on these boards, but I can't find anything.

So...

What's the future plans for Aereth in regards to 4E? Will we get an updated boxed set? Or, maybe an Aereth hardback?

Just curious.

And, as one GM to another, if you don't like something in 4E, throw it out. Don't let the core book tell you squat. (My longest running campaign was an L5R game where I forced all 5 players to choose the same "class." 4+ years. Best game I ever ran.) "Do what thou wilt, that shall be...

Not right now. I am hoping to switch to LL soon and use Aereth as the setting. That or The Wilderlands of High Fantasy.

Re: Dungeoneer Adventures: Designer Diary #2: No +1 Swords

No +1 Swords Way back in the day the big kids next door let me join them for a dungeon stomping adventure. I will never quite understand why the 15 and 16 year old guys wanted to play with a 10 year old kid, but heck, stranger gaming groups have been formed. Way stranger. We were playing with the v...

Like Harley said, they're not modified at all.

Included in the box set is a booklet that expands the plot to link each of the modules together. It also contains a map of Hadler's Gap, which is a nice addition.

I highly recommend this box set :!:

Well, I'll be keeping a blog that reports each session's events. Once I have it up and running I'll post back here.

Saga of the Dragon Cult

Hello fellow gamers, I don't give reviews much attention and I generally avoid what others tell me is a "must buy". But... If you are thinking about picking up the Saga of the Dragon Cult boxed set, do! It is freakin' amazing the way Goodman Games has linked the modules together into one e...

You should not have any major difficulty simply starting with The Lost Vault of Tsathzar Rho. the bulk of the linking text and encounters are set between the separate DCC modules. There are two things that are changed in The Lost Vault of Tsathzar Rho to provide some foreshadowing for the campaign....

Okay, I have another question. I have the Sage of the Dragon Cult on order at my FLGS. However, the first session of my new DCC campaign will take place prior to me getting the box-set. It mentions that the box-set includes a book that links all of the modules together. It seems that the plots might...

Elven Subraces & Áereth

Hello fellow gamers, There is little mention (unless I'm over-looking something) in the Áereth box-set (DCC #35) about elven subraces, except in the GM's Guide on page 48, where it lists the favored deities by race. On that table we see the subraces listed, gray, wild, wood, aquatic, and drow. In re...

The Lost Vault of Tsathzar Rho - Questions

Hello fellow gamers, I guess I should start by saying this thread will most likely contain spoilers. On page 6, in the Area 1-3 The Beetle Cavern , it says: The corridor heading into this place from the north opens 10 feet above the cavern's floor. Should that read, " from the south "? The...
