I'm reading the adventure now. It is quite good. I can truly see this being a connecting thread for the various DCC modules. One question I have about the adventure (it's not with me at work so I apologize for being vague) is how do the adventures get up to the mine and fight the ogres? Will they ne...

I got this in the mail last week. This is another wonderful addition to the DCC line.

Thanks for the good work.

The black and white cover art is great.

I'd be if the premise is PCs from a traditional European setting venture there.

Have you seen either of the two I mentioned? The adventures are really grand in my opinion. Necropolis is going to be the end of a campaign for the PCs I'm DMing. I want to have several side quests to break up this long adventure and DCC would do fine. I agree that a "source book" w/o the ...

The interior artists for the original Monster Manual 2 are Jim Holloway, Harry Quinn, Dave Sutherland, and Larry Elmore.

As to which one did the spriggan I don't know.

My three would have to be: Temple of the Dragon Cult Bloody Jack's Gold and The Lost Vault of Tsathzar Rho To be honest, I've enjoyed reading them all. I've only been able to adventure in DCC#1, Idylls of the Rat King and loved it. DCC #9 is the only one that's not an adventure, but works for DMs ne...

Golden Age sword & sorcery short stories for me. At least that's what I aim for when I DM. I don't make my own adventures, I buy 'em. Each is a story to itself but with elements bleeding over from one to the other.

I have not read the last post. Thanks for the "heads-up" spoiler message. Just wanted to let you know this adventure looks very neat. The co-dm owns it & I'm hoping to enjoy this someday. When I do, I hope I can still find this thread. Mr. Goodman, I again send my complements to you an...

I second what slimykuotoan said. Even down to the coloring of dice. I still have the dice but my crayon got eaten by the dog in 1980 or '81!

You guys at Goodman Games should treat yourselves to a bowl of ice cream for jobs well done.

Two current "source books" DCC's could draw from, if permission were given, could be Necropolis and Ancient Kingdoms: Mesopotamia. Both of these are from Necromancer Games.

Lots of potential! Of course, I am an Ancient History major and I may be a wee bit biased....

Nah, that justs adds more complexity to an already complex game. Gets in the way of heroic deeds and fighting the bad guys!

Now if one of the gang WANTS his character to have a "war-wound" from a major fight, I'm not going to stand in his way.

We need to be able to buy a DCC based on an ancient culture.

Like Egyptian, Babylonian, Hittite, Assyrian, etc.

We have several quality adventures for d20 on the market that could use a rockin'-cool boost in the arm with a vicious dungeon crawl side quest.

This adventure is excellent. We went through it last weekend (Friday-Saturday Game Fest). Truely "old-school." Spoilers ahead -- The gnome & his zombie allies almost did us in! I have a question concerning the final battle with the vampire. By the time we found the bottle, I'd figured ...

I bought it. I read it. I love it!! Can't wait to DM it. Please keep these coming. This really is an old-fashion dungeon crawl. Why more folks don't like 'em I'll never know. $10.99 is not a bad price at all. Four of us game and we will more than get eleven bucks worth of fun out of this module. Tha...
