I'm right there with you Jason. haha, man I'm so hyped. I haven't been this excited about a setting in a very long time. I typically use Greyhawk or a setting of my own design I called World of Jaessar (my world, my initials are J.S.R.). Anyway, I love the anticipation, it is a feeling I mi...

Mr. Goodman,

Thanks. That's great news, I look forward to it. You've already shared enough to be honest, but more previews are cool.

I pre-ordered this from my LGS yesterday and the owner is giving me 20% off.

Now I sit staring at the phone...

Are there blank areas of the Known Realms? Yep - as mentioned earlier in this thread, there's plenty of unmapped areas left in the Known Realms. This was done deliberately, so that GMs could easily insert their own homebrewed adventures and campaigns - or, for that matter, any adventure or campaign...

For those of you "in the know"...

Are there blank areas of the Known Realms?

I'm hoping there's an area that I can stick Yggsburgh and its environs (namely Castle Zagyg) easily.

Amazon.com has this boxed set listed with a release date of September 30. http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/0977960226/ref=s9_asin_image_1/002-1997247-2585607 I'm tempted to pre-order, but I wonder how accurate that release date is. Do you guys think they'll really have copies to start shipping out this ...

I vote for sturdy, lamination too. I love the HackMaster GM's shield, if you can copy any of that screen's ideas it would be great.

I was just reading over the preview, and was wondering if DCC 1 is set in the Southlands. I am running that right now and decided to have it be winter time during the course of the adventure. I have had heavy snows, and frigid winds, all of this I started before I new anything about DCC 35. would l...

I'd like to think there are some pretty memorable pirate NPCs in DCC#35, too, Jason. In fact, there's a sort of pirate haven that Captain Gore could well have come from! You know, it is no longer required to drop teasers and hints any longer. As soon as this box is within arms reach of me it will b...

You make a good point. That IS what modules are for. I especially agree with using published adventurers to avoid the prep time required to make NPCs with the current edition of D&D. Damn you Wizards of the Coast. Don't I know it. The very thought of creating stat blocks is the reason I run mod...

Wouldn't that be DCC30: Vault of the Dragon Kings? Well holy crap. I should mention that I don't own any DCCs except Aerie of the Crow God. I prefer to write my own adventures. I can see I will more than likely start buying DCCs after I have the campaign setting if for nothing but ideas to use and ...

For the record, there is nothing cooler than a potential fan saying, "This idea rocks!" and then being able to hand over an adventure of the very same idea. :) So Jason, when are you going to pitch some of your home adventures our way? //H Well, I've never given that much though...

Thanks for the kind words, Jason. Very flattering indeed for all of us. How cool is that artwork!?? :D A crude record of the "modern" age appears in the Gaz., documenting the events from the sinking of Lirea to the present. Indeed! This ancient history stuff is good fluff, but the "m...

OSRIC

Hello fellow gamers, I figure with the "old-school" vibe that's associated with DDC some of you gamers might have given OSRIC a try or maybe printed it out to get a group of players together to start a campaign. If so, how'd it go? What do you think of OSRIC? I think it would fit nicely wi...

Hmmm....does Goodman Games make as much money when selling via Amazon as opposed to via a regular store? I don't know, that's why I'm asking - if they do then this would be hard to resist, apart from the desire to try and keep my FLGS in business by buying there instead..... I do support my LGS, I ...

Well darnit! I was hoping Amazon.com would sell the boxed set at a discounted price like everything else they sell, but no, $69.99. I guess I'll have to wait and hope for a used copy to show up after the release. Maybe one of the discount used booksellers on Amazon.com will have some. Fingers cross...
