What does Google have that these boards doesn't?
I finally stumbled onto the DCC-RPG community thing on Google and find it alive with posts while the official forum board here at Goodman is little used.
What is up with that?
Old curmudgeons want to know.

Re: DCC RPG TEE SHIRTS---why can't we own them?
OgrePuppy, I am deeply offended at your lack of attempted offence. Next time you should lean towards your ogre and less towards your puppy when attacking a Jedi! :D I also have been a long-time contributor to the fiscal betterment of Mr. Goodman. While I don't know if I could squeeze any more dollar...

Re: Metal Bands Are Not the Music for RPGing :)
But...This topic is close to heresy! I like the new Tron soundtrack as well. It is neat to compare both Tron movies soundtracks. I own one Led Zeppelin album. My sister-in-law got it for me for one of the songs mentions Gollum. I don't know this album's name for it seems to have four symbols ...

Re: DCC RPG TEE SHIRTS---why can't we own them?
Joe, the subject was ripe for "because you are not worthy!" While I know you were joking, I had absolutely 150% positively NO WAY of attending the Con. That has nothing to do with my "worthiness," and a lot more to do with "I'm a responsible dude with a family and job...

Re: Metal Bands Are Not the Music for RPGing :)
Metal isn't for everyone, but there are lots of classic rock that fit the mood, I think, the more progressive stuff. Synth based stuff is good too. But some disco totally works, like Meco (who did a lot of sci-fi disco-remixes). And there is still classical stuff like the soundtrack for the origina...

Metal Bands Are Not the Music for RPGing :)
Well, here I’ve been sitting waiting to head to church, reading from the Good Book and listening to music. The music got me to thinking about role playing and the DCC-RPG specifically. Numerous posts and just the general feel from Joseph Goodman & Co. as well as many of the posters always refere...

I've not read any of his Jorkens stories. I'm told they are good, but of a very different feel than his early stuff.GnomeBoy wrote:. . .except for a section of six stories under the heading of Jorkens, with titles like The Neapolitan Ice and Jorkens Consults a Prophet and A Mystery of the East.

Re: What to read next?
I can't recommend Lord Dunsany enough. His stuff has an ephemeral or dream-like quality that I've not seen elsewhere. His Time and the Gods is an interesting read that I finished last month. Nice to hear. A collection of his that I picked up in Eureka is next after The Blue Star. GnomeBoy, I don't ...

Sorry,I was just putting myself in your situation! Dude, that's not a orc! That's your wife! No one make disparaging comments about JediWife without getting a free limb removal via a light saber! Besides, I've been the one in the kitchen these past two weeks when I'm not at work. She had bunion surgery on her right foot and has been couch ridden for...

Re: Funnel For One
With the understanding you are trying to have your friend game with just one PC, might I suggest a different strategy? (Let the wookie win.) Since you are wanting to do a solo, I say let the single player bring twelve or so 0-lvl characters. Use Purple Sorcerer's character generator which eliminates...

Raven_Crowking, thanks for the link.
GnomeBoy, I like the idea of raising the die type for the patron spells for elves. That seems a good balance.

I would suggest that Walter, for willingly aiding the Chaos Lords, should painfully transform into a Beast Man Champion and become a NPC.
