The only place where we really haven't seen straight 3D6 work very well so far is with demihumans -- elves with INT of 4, or dwarves with high INT and low strength and stamina, etc. Humans have more flexibility with their stats. We may house-rule minimum stats for demihumans (re-roll your background...
