Re: DCC RPG Slipcase edition

I'd love a brown leather with silver foil. Agree, don't use same design as prior books.

Re: The Revelation of Mulmo PBP - WARNING SPOILERS

"We need to find the tokens to open that tower. They must be here somewhere."

Hamun Ry opens a cage, if there's a raven or crow he'll choose that over say a parrot or similar talking bird.

Re: Making the Dwarf more unique

Yeah FWIW I don't agree that the Dwarf isn't unique enough. They're different enough from Warriors to me, and my tabletop crew. We don't have a Warrior, though, but we do have a Dwarf.

Re: The Revelation of Mulmo PBP - WARNING SPOILERS

Hamun Ry coughs, then clears his throat a bit. "Hrmm, let's have the thief look at these, first. The cages do (or did?) radiate auras of magic, so perhaps the dead birds may come to life. Or, perhaps worse, simply animate. After all, isn't the water of life required to restore it?" After a...

Re: The Revelation of Mulmo PBP - WARNING SPOILERS

Hamun Ry relays what he learned about magic to the cleric, but isn't concerned if the others overhear. "You have my thanks for the rope," he says. "It's a long drop." RC, is there any way to tell if the particular spell, or type of spell, affects the die to cast? Just curious. Oh...

Re: The Revelation of Mulmo PBP - WARNING SPOILERS

Ouch. Hamun Ry gains a sense of strong magic in the air all around him, although nothing specific immediately leaps outward. Then a buzzing swarm containing millions of bees or wasps arrives from below (magical!), and bodily lifts the wizard from the ground, sweeping him away to the north. He has a...

Re: The Revelation of Mulmo PBP - WARNING SPOILERS

Hamun Ry goes up and joins the warriors at the top. And, crossing his fingers, he's going to attempt to Detect Magic again. 10 + 2 + 4 = 16, which should be success... but I guess one never knows. Does he see anything interesting, particular re: the paintings, carvings, etc? Odd crystals grow out of...

Hamun Ry glares at the thief a moment, bristling behind his... long gray beard? The he mumbles something that sounds like "get off my lawn!" and follows Yoros towards the gleaming stairs room.

Who was Ogrepuppy's character, the cleric? Would seem to be pretty important. :-)

Hamun Ry snorts. "Temptresses that live in airless pools aren't to be trusted. But I suppose you illiterates might not have come across that before." He follows Yoros.

Re: The Revelation of Mulmo PBP - WARNING SPOILERS

As far as how we're carrying our guy, uh... is this supposed to be Weekend at Bernies? Or do we take the water to the dead? I figured the latter. But if that breaks the module, maybe we uh are dragging him around? Re: these turkeys... "HALT, thief!" Hamun says, drawing the bow taut. "...

Re: Four fixes for DCC

I don't mind that one character is more powerful than another as long as everybody is still having fun, and as long as I don't have to bend my campaign world out-of-shape to make sure everybody is having fun. Having to single-out a character and "crush" him just isn't fun for me. If the s...
