Re: The Secret of Bone Hill - L1 DCC conversion Play By Post
Portly Trim buys 2 torches, he's not too fond of dark places, but these are desperate times. He also buys a large sack for all the jewels he's sure to find. Fritz Duiveltongue purchases some flint & steel & an empty flask. He hopes to fill it if he finds a water source such as a river or spr...

Re: The Secret of Bone Hill - L1 DCC conversion Play By Post
Portly Trim rubs his beer belly while listening intently to the proposition. Clump hops about from foot to foot, each hop brings a grimace to his face, which seems to annoy the exotic looking Fantano, who growls at the jester to "stop his infernal hopping". The bald but handsome Fritz Duiv...

Really nice cover. I couldn't justify the extra $20 just to get a new cover & none of my players wanted to either.

Re: Hex Crawl Classics
I own Carcosa, Isle of the Unknown & Wilderlands. They're a great resource & inspiration for Hex Crawls. I recently bought Hexographer & I'm creating my own Hex Crawl map & inserting various DCC modules into it. I've never Hex Crawled before but I'm looking forward to it.

Re: Bone Hoard of the Dancing Horror
I ran Bone Hoard of the Dancing Horror for my group a few weeks back & they really enjoyed it. In fact, their characters now live in the Lair of Dellspero & they call themselves "The Dellsper-ados". The rockfalls have been cleared, sturdy front doors have been placed at the e...

Re: Brave Halfling Publishing: Appendix N Adventures
John is not on top of the situation though. Nothing has shipped yet. I've no experience with him or his company apart from this Kickstarter. So far I've been disappointed by the lack of product. I hope he gets on top of things soon. I don't think he's being ill treated when consumers express their ...

Re: Brave Halfling Publishing: Appendix N Adventures
I know. I asked the publisher a few days ago if it was going to ship by the revised date of the end of November & he said yes. It's December already & it hasn't shipped. I wish he'd stop saying things & not delivering. So far all he's published for this Kickstarter is a single pdf. Not a...

Re: Appendix N - after 1978.
I've read all of The Dark Tower novels & believe it is worthy for inclusion. Amongst other things it has quests for strange artifacts, cthulhiod darkness, an odd party of individuals working together, otherwordly antics, weird & wonderful protagonists & a clever mix of fantasy/scifi. Not...

Read magic required for learning new spells?
How do 1st level Wizards learn their initial 3 spells if they don't have the spell Read Magic? is Read Magic required to learn new spells? On a side note, the forum's search engine wasn't helpful on this issue. "The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common w...

Re: Detect Evil--seems pretty powerful...
My player's Neutral cleric cast Detect Evil last night. What is the opposing alignment to Neutral? Should I ignore Lawful & Chaotic creatures & just allow the spell to detect threats to the cleric? I would consider the nature of the deity worshipped to answer that question. The deity is Amu...

Re: That's a cool T-shirt
I like the idea of a DCC tshirt but I'm disappointed that the sizes only go up to XL. I'm sure I'm not the only old school gamer who's a big guy & an XXL shirt would have been very cool.I hope Goodman Games reconsider & cater for those of us who need a bit more cloth.

Re: UPDATED! Prison of the Squid Sorcerer -- 8 days left!
All of this information should have been supplied from the very beginning of this project instead of in dribs & drabs. I'm not surprised that only 22 DCC fans have so far been convinced to crowd fund this project. The pitch has been rather patchy to say the least.

I finally did an update of the first post. John's dates are now corrected, as is Mark's PDF/POD note, but I'm sure there are other corrections that need to be made. Keep me up to date via this thread... 8) Nice one. :) Here's a couple I noticed. Issues 4 & 5 of Crawl have been published. The Pu...

Re: Disappointed with the FLGS in regards to DCC RPG.
I went to my wargaming club last week. I go there to paint minis & brought my copy of the DCC RPG rulebook along to read when I needed a break from painting. I got chatting to the owner of my FLGS about the book & he thought it was a really great looking book but he'd never heard of it. I've...
