DP's & Big Daddy Monsters?
Am i imagining it or do epic monsters like Dragons, Ogres, Trolls never have DP's? I see it says that Fully Fledged NPC's do, but not monsters. Again i like the idea that monsters don't have DP's for speeds sake, but this leads to a wierd situation where only Fully Fledged NPC's can dodge, evade etc...

Re: Questions after first play session
Not sure, but I guess that you could do either, but treating a trap as Potential-Harm sounds sensible - but as your pools always refresh outside combat, unless the trap actually did Toughness damage you would be unharmed. Yes, traps deliver Potential-Harm. Some traps may bypass armor, or disallow c...

Re: Questions after first play session
More questions we remembered.
How should we deal with disarming and knockback/pushing in combat when using ERPS?

Re: Weapons: 1H or 2H?
Don't get me wrong, i love the idea that that using 2-H weapons or Duel Wielding cost you that Deflect DP, it makes complete sense! I just don't think the benefits offensively are proportionate to the loss defensively.

Re: Weapons: 1H or 2H?
Doesn't duel wielding suffer the same issue then? What real offensive benefit is there compared to losing an entire DP (Deflect)? Or are we missing something?

Re: I just got the book, and...
Yah, we encountered almost all the same anomalies you did shocklee. I think ERPS is a great example of a great system unfortunately layed out in a not so easy to digest manner. Sometimes you really have to dig to find what you are looking for.
The good news is it plays really, really well!![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Questions after first play session
We just played our first session of Eldritch, and love the system - it's the best I've ever seen for old-style dungeon crawling. But we do have a few questions about the rules - could someone please provide some clarifications? 1. On page 14: "His Specialization with the axe grants him +2 point...
