Yeah, I think it was Andy who first told me about that book. Don't worry, you're not going mad. =)

Well, I definitely went back and forth about it, but I finally decided on hardback. Originally I had asked Mike Mearls to write the Aerial book in three parts because I thought the modular format would appeal to people. And it does appeal to some people, including you, evidently! But I got mixed rev...

Tusk Wars is on hold, so I can't give you anything firm on that. As for Big Game Hunters, I'll say tentatively maybe within the next 6 months or so, but, again, don't quote me on that. :) Previews for sure once things are more finalized...
Originally posted by Anonymous It looks good, but $11 for a 32 page module is really steep. This will have to recieve some REALLY good reviews before I consider buying it. Ouch! I think I'll leave "spayed and neutered" off the table. :) That's a good point about magical healing. The second time, the bard got healed right up... but the first time, he had to be bound and carried back to civilization. That's good for scarring, I bet. I'll have to check out thos...

That one really grabs me. First, the fact that you managed to make a bat-girl look cute. That's something. And the "Kshatrya Chic" is really intriguing, somehow -- meshing a warrior caste with a fashion statement is just cool. What setting is this for?

Getting Scarred While Getting Killed

So I was DM'ing a D&D game last night and one of the characters - a gnome bard - was reduced to negative hit points for the second time in less than a week (game time). He was successfully stabilized and was soon healed, but it got me thinking. Being reduced to negative wounds surely must have s...

The creature reminds me of the ones in that book whose name I can't remember... doggonit... there was a book of alien creatures written by some sci-fi artist. My cousin had it. I can't remember the name, but his creatures were similar to yours. You know, there's a town in Connecticut called New Cana...

Driving 4 hours is *definitely* dedicated, that's for sure. Luckily for me, Atlanta has something like 10 game stores within the metro area, so I'm well covered. My latest addictions have been a new D&D campaign involving fantasy mechs, Risk 2210 AD, and a couple of homemade card games I've been...

Captain Future rocks! I don't know much about the pulp magazines but I love the pulp sci-fi comics from the 40s and 50s. I have a lot of the old reprints. A lot of the artists were amazing, especially Al Williamson (of course). The plots and characters were sometimes a little lacking... but that was...

I'm not an anime aficionado so I can't really comment on the style, but I think you achieved your goal of making her more virtuous. Of course, adding more clothes would be the most effective route ;), but aside from that, the stance and hair do make her seem a little less risque than a lot of these ...
