Re: Incarnum & Dragonmech
The brow bind is genius. I don't think it is overly powerful, but then I haven't tried it out yet either. As for the feet bind, I love the concept, but I think it may be a little weak. +1 to +5 points of damage to a single attack, once/encounter? I'd suggest something like having the damage apply to...

Incarnum & Dragonmech
Wrote up a soulmeld for mech users, in case anyone is interested. Mech Jockey's Non-Slip Gloves Descriptors: None Classes: Incarnate, Soulborn Chakra: Hands Saving Throw: None Gear-shaped circles of incarnum swirl around your hands, clicking into place as a pair of well-worn, but still in good condi...

Re: Lunar Biology 101 with Prof. Willowstar
Against one wall, a brooding hulk of a man with an aura of calm efficiency has been sitting quietly. He wears heavy armor and has a chattersword strapped to his back. The shimmer of a protective psionic power engulfs him. The human Kallor is gaining impetus as a new warlord, uniting all the terrestr...

Re: Lunar Biology 101 with Prof. Willowstar
In the back of the class, three students converse quietly; A slender Spirit-Bound (kalashtar) youth with glowing blue eyes, a spotty fur shirt that seems to appear and disappear in patches as you watch, clutches the glowing outline of a blade that also appears and disappears randomly tightly in one ...

Re: Gearghast
Scary :D That con breath weapon is downright nasty. 1d6 con damage, plus nausea, every 1d4 rounds? That alone makes me worried about the survival of anyone up against one of these things. Add in the paralysis, frightful presence, and lets not forget swallow whole, you've got yourself a downright nas...

Re: Dragonmech; Firefly?
Sweet :D Nothing wrong being associated with the greatest show ever created! No way am I going to lump the Irontooth clans in with the Stenians! IMO, at least as far as it makes sense in my head, it works something like this; Stenian Confederacy = the Alliance, all rules and order carried out with a...

Re: Dragonmech; Firefly?
Just watched Ariel and War Stories again. Ariel got me wondering, what would be the equivalent of the Core Planets?
Are Stenian City-Mechs the best bet?

Its is me indeed, Oaksoul Omni. Jumping over a mech, never thought of that haha. Imagine their faces... :D More bonus-i to jumping can be found in both Dungeonscape (no doubling of DC for standing long, then standing high jump) and Savage Species (if you still use it) in the form of the Mighty Leapi...

Howdy Omni! I'm not sure what use the jump could be other than movement, and as a massive aid in scouting. But I like the idea of a 'kreen attaching itself to a mech, stowing away until it gets whatever information it is looking for. After all, with 4 claws and massively powerful legs, sticking ones...

Heh. I completely missed that one! My bad. But honestly, do you know any melee-oriented character who would be happy settling for 1d6 base damage? Haha I don't! While I like deep impact, you may be right concerning re-focusing in melee. Completely forgot Under the Skin, which fits so perfectly (all ...

River looks good, Ken. Never thought of Detect Hostile Intent , but that one really is perfect for her. Don't think Body Adjustment fits, though. How about Escape Detection ? And for her artificial parts, may I suggest either swapping one of the damage bonuses for the improvement to unarmed damage (...

How about waiting for a big battle to blow over between, lets say, Stenian and Irontooth forces. When the main of the battle is over, time for the group to rush in and salvage anything they can, before the other forces can get their stuff together. Perhaps one of the clansmen has developed the first...

the quest to come up with the right amount of money to customize a used Talon sounds like a great first adventure for the crew.... putting the party in just enough money to live on and sometimes pay for an upgrade is a very slick trick for an episodic structure. Greatest ideas yet. And nevermind fi...

Sweet! on Highpoint, a cargo mech that didn't appear to have any armament would fit itself constantly targeted by Irontooth clans, rust riders, orcs, killer clowns, etc. That is what I was thinking. But 2 buzzsaws? I think any players would get peeved rather quickly about the free potshots most othe...

While most people assume warforged, as living constructs, would be able to work 24 hours/day, (I believe) it was decided they could only work on any given task for 8 hours in a given day, just like the fleshbags. This was due to people trying to build magic items in 1/3 the time and such. I'll doubl...
