Thanks GnomeBoy.

It was fun. I will definitely keep a few other beloved ol' modules in my head the next time I simply can't come up with something original in the future!

I just told my little girl a bed time story based off of B3

The Palace of the Silver Princess. She wanted something more after I read her a chapter of The Road to Oz and I'm so tired I couldn't think of anything. All of a sudden the old T.S.R. module B3 popped into my head. It was so much fun. I glossed over it in about seven minutes and it had six noble adv...

Re: One picture that summerizes your entire gamming experian

Folks, I'm too tired today to figure out how to add the photo I want. So, instead do an Internet search for the Milton Bradley board game Dark Tower. The artwork on the cover of the box is a wonderful summery for me. Edit: Here it is: http://www.thestrong.org/online-collections/images/Z003/Z00359/Z0...

Re: Classic (A)D&D Modules Ideal for DCC

I would suggest N1: Against the Cult of the Reptile God. This seems to be a great module that would evoke a DCC feel. Even more so if you set this up in advance. Have all the PCs come from the village when you select a funnel module. After a few adventures, the PCs being second level, have them retu...

Re: Quick Question about Sailors and "Tomb of the Fallen"

Harley, I've just read this module last week. It stands up to your typical great work! Good job buddy! As you may have seen in my feeble posts here over the last month, I'm really trying to get back into my one real hobby. It has been a very long couple of years. As far as a bane for the back way in...

I'm also curious.

I have an original pre-order copy, i.e. first printing, and am interested in purchasing a copy or two. What has been added or changed from the first printing?

Re: What can an elf do to avoid corruption?

My take on elves makes it difficult for me to envision them being corrupted by magic. I'm leaning towards making the elves drop one die on the dice chain when casting spells, but avoiding corruption on natural ones. Human wizards are, for the most part, all about getting as much power as possible an...

Holiday Grab Bag 2014

Well, my wife, JediWife, called me at work today.

My Grab Bag came in. She has absconded with it!

I will either find it under the tree for Christmas or it will be hidden away until my birthday in late January.

I'm excited to find out what lurks withing the box.

Has anyone else receive theirs?

Those are good questions.

Let's see if Harley has anything to say about this?

The Well of the Worm: My C&C Game at Work

Hi All, it has been quite some time since I’ve been visiting the forum boards and I have been missing it terribly. What is going to follow is a write up of our (mostly) weekly game of one-hour length that is going on at my work. I’m trying to play catch up over on the Troll Lord forum boards since t...

Mind you it's part-time, but I'm teaching two college level history classes this fall! For those of you who have been wondering where on earth I've gone to: My full-time job as a college bookstore manager has become a vampire, sucking the life out of me as my store grows and grows, but my staffing i...

When will this product appear on the horizon?

I ordered a copy and can't wait for it to arrive. I noticed that there are two editions, 1965 and 1969. The 1965 one is the cover pictured in this thread, and it's the cover I like the best. I don't know about the art in the other edition. I own the 1969 re-print & I think the cover is cool. Wh...

It is also *very* much a question of scale and scope. 10th lvl DCC warrior ≠ 10th level BECMI or AD&D or D&D edition X. Rather, he is a nigh demi-god, conquering worlds across time and space. (Or whatever he feels up to.) Think level 30+ in BECMI, and AD&D never really reached this tone...
