Re: Points of Lights

So are there any chances of a Points of Light 2? What about a product that expands on the microsettings described in the original PoL? Any chance of seeing more of those classic RSC maps in any other products?

Re: Points of Lights

Additionally, these maps are just fantastic. How are the setting maps going to be presented in the points of Light product (full page, half page)? Have you ever considered just making these types of maps?

Re: Points of Lights

I'm really starting to look forward to this now. My hope is to pick up a copy and run an adventure using PoL as the basis for the setting at GenCon... This will be available at GenCon right?

Thx for the link, H. That is interesting to see the progression from your maps to the final product. What's even more interesting is the even more "earth-like" appearence in your maps. Very cool.

DCC World ~ map design questions

I hope by posting this I;m not giving too much information away, so I'll keep my comments as "safe" as possible. Based on my assumptions on laying out the map, it seems as if we are only seeing 1/3 or 1/4 the whole world. Was this planned? And with the maps being as excellent as they are, ...

Superfan, The laminating machines at CopyMax (OfficeMax) are just big enough to laminate properly (with 2 inches to spare!). I advise making sure the person at the controls of the laminating machine appears competant enough not to screw up your bust-ass, and extremely expensive maps. While laminated...

The box set is heavy... very heavy. So I got the maps laminated today and layed them out on the floor to inspect every inch. I am hovering over the maps when my GF comes in and says to me: "Is that your world blanket?" She smiled and then walked away. I dare not give away yet what she mean...

I can tell you that once our RPG groups gets to exibit hall, 3 of those badboys will be claimed! Don't forget to stop by the booth between 2pm on Thursday so you can praise and/or berate the design team. And then again on Saturday at 3pm to exalt the esteemed Topographic Rex for bequeathing his map...

I'm partial to DCC #25: Dread Crypt of Srihoz, by Erol Otus. That cover just jumped off the page at me. Good stuff.

...but if this setting sells like I think it will, and achieves the popularity that it should, then we'll all pester Joseph to release yet more goodies! That's some confidence! Frankly in today's gaming age confidance about a product such as this is hard to find it seems. That makes me feel like my...
