Carmak rolls a 17 to climb down, Okar rolls a 13 to climbs down and burns 2 points of luck to make it safely down.

Rurik and Wilbure Init: 3+1 = 4
Rurik to hit: 7+0=7 I am sure that is a miss
Wilbure to hit: 18+1=19 as he stumbles down the last few feet with his pitchfork out he stabs it for a whopping 7+1=8 points of damage.

Rurik finishes his climb and draws his club with an Init of 7
Swinging the club at the bug: To hit: 15, if it hits, 3 points of damage.

Wilbure starts to climb down: 17 and makes it to the bottoms, next round he will have an init of 11 (10+1)

Okar up above pulls out a torch and hands it to Mordecai.

Rurik rolls a 13 +1 Agility +1 burning luck = 15

As he starts to sweat, "I think this is a bad idea" and is currently contemplating not proceeding further and thinking about climbing back up.

Rurik being the rat catcher he is "I vote for exploring the hole here" and he climbs down.

Ok, so out of character:
We can go down the hole here, out the nearby door and down the tunnel.
Back up the stairs and try one of the other two doors.

Did I miss any direction?

Okar will begin to go down the stairs with his shovel out in front of him.

Okar will try to push the south door open, failing that he will try using his shovel on one side or the other to try and pry the door open. "Well, one way or another"

Rurik "It appears as though our path has been decided, with the floor giving away ahead, I think the stairs are out best option, plus with them going up, maybe we will find our companions."

Rurik will help pry the door open, once inside he is going to sit down and catch his breath, wilbure will follow.

Rurik agrees the door is a good option.

Maybe apply a penalty to the check based on damage took?

Wilbure will also join the three on the rope.

Rurik "It seems climbable but it is going to be exhausting work. I see no other opening yet."

Is is possible to loop the rope over points in the wall as long as the outcroppings were not sharp?

Rurik is going to proceed down a bit more. He wants to see if there is an opening under the floor that is sticking out into the chasm. He is hoping he doesn't have to climb forever.

Rurik "Doesn't look like that door is going to open up again any time soon." he ties the rope around his waist and hands it off to the group. "Lets see what we can see" He start climbing down the wall. (Rurik is a dwarf with infravision)

Rurik "I have a rope but is there anything we can tie it too, also it does not look like 50' will be of much use"

Wilbure speaks up "I have a spike, can we pound it into the floor?"

Rurik "Maybe there is an opening under the ledge that we can't see. Any volunteers?"

Okar will take this round to light a torch, hoping that the heat will drive back the tendrils.

Rurik will slowly and carefully remove the net and then spend time cleaning and fixing it if needed.
