Opposed rolls are never explained in the book!

Few things I found not clear about various mutations: p. 40, Table 3-2, Defects. Is "Life Force Transference" supposed to be a defect? And it it is, then description on p.88 should include "at judge's discretion", just like with another only active defect in game "death pret...
