Store Purchase Question
When you purchase a physical copy of a module (or boxed set) from the Goodman Games store is the .PDF included? PDFs are great for portability and if you need to print parts for use in game but having a physical copy to make notes in (not able to do this with watermarked PDF files) is huge for me (a...

Re: Ran my first adventure
Session 2 went well. I intend to use the funnel I wrote to hold several DCC events here in COS to try and spread the game locally. . A quick question, how many funnels to reach level 1 in your experience? two/three? I have only ran funnels for different groups so far. Depends on the number of survi...

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1409961192/dcc-lankhmar Ahhh amazing. Wonder if after Lankhmar they might make others expanding on their own products. I really enjoyed the Purple Planet setting, what other well known IP could work with DCC? If they made a boxed setting with anything Michael Mo...

Re: Anyone playing in Indianapolis?
Got in touch with Saltire Games today (since they don't open until later on Monday).
Barring any unforeseen circumstances we will be playing on May 13th at 1PM.
They do seem to have a sweet display (picture on Facebook) and they have dice tubes in stock if people want to continue afterwards.

Failed my read roll:
"When the cleric regains spells on the
following day, his disapproval range is reset
to a natural 1."
The effects lasting makes much more sense.
Thanks!

Disapproval removal
I'm trying to wrap my head around the disapproval rules for the Cleric. I get how you accrue it and how it can lead to a higher probability of spell failure and more disapproval (looks like unlikely players can snowball this pretty quickly). Other than sacrifices and possible quests to atone for bei...

Fantastic, if I had to pick it'd be Saltire since they are already displaying the product so they must have some interest in it. Thanks for doing all the legwork on this. Sometimes pictures on the internet don't tell the whole story :) I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they can do for us i...

I am looking forward to Lankhmar. I am a kickstarter supporter. I would love to get in a some games of DCC RPG, learn the rules and play some Sword & Sorcery. Anyone running any DCC RPG in Indianapolis? It looks like Who'sYerCon was a success which is awesome news! http://goodman-games.com/blog...

Re: Anyone playing in Indianapolis?
I checked with the spousal unit and a quick glance at the work schedule says I should be available on May 13th. I need to double check with work to make sure nothing will change before contacting a store. Do you have a preference for either location? A 3 hour drive for either so it doesn't matter mu...

Another option is newer style board games. CMON (Cool Mini or Not) produces some fantastic stuff and when you consider mini prices vs. buying a game full of minis it'll stretch your dollars pretty far. Check out: Blood Rage Zombicide (especially the Black Plague and expansions) The Others: 7 Sins (f...

Apparently there're 2 stores in Indy that need some exposure. Anyone up to trying that? I'll have to check my scheduling and pass it by the spousal unit but I may be interested in doing something like this.

Have you considered getting Ready References as table copies? I bought one for each of my players, but there is a free print-your-own option if you want to go that route. http://dcctreasures.blogspot.ca/2016/12/dcc-rpg-reference-booklet.html Sweet! Thanks for sharing that. It's a definite time saver.

I've picked up a couple 4th prints (shelf and work copies) and the PDF but I'm seeing what I think are 1st prints on ebay for $29.99 (given the item number listed anyway) that would work as table copies. With so many charts and options I'd rather have player copies as needed that if they get finger ...

Re: Hole In The Sky: Lady In Blue as Patron? *spoiler warnin
Reads well! My only concern would be the movement speed of the detached head is only 10 feet. I can evade the body attacks and move in to swat the floating head since it can't move very quickly (at worst take a hit moving away from the body). Flying attackers would make sure that the player in quest...
