Black Powder Black Magic Firearms clarification.
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, seemed like a toss up between here and rules discussion. The rules for firearms in BPBM #1 state that a firearm can only fire once per round but if it is semi auto then it can fire 3 shots with the first shot at -1d the second at -2d and the third at -3d with the ...

Roleplaying Games for the armed forces.
I seem to recall a charity where you sent roleplaying game books to people serving in the armed forces sometime around christmas, but i cannot for the life of me find any information about it. Anyone here know anything about it?

Write Magic........on ammunition.
Would it be permissible for a spell written on a piece of ammunition able to be cast with the normal attack die? For example: A spell written on an arrow head using the characters attack roll as the casting check. I know it would be expensive to make these, etching on an arrowhead, sling stone, or b...

Re: DCC foil edition durability
Unfortunately i wasn't able to hop on that particular kickstarter. Mine is just a pre-order so i don't have the tabs and gilding on the pages. And if you have a few foiled books that aren't giving you any trouble i'm not going to worry about it. Like i said, i think its just a bit of factory excess ...

DCC foil edition durability
Just got my silver foil of the fourth printing in the mail (looks flippin' awesome!) and noticed a few small glittery points on my fingers after handling it a bit. I assume that these are just a bit of factory excess but it got me wondering if the foil might eventually come off. Anyone have experien...

That makes a lot more sense than having a straight level=percentage. Thanks for the reply.Raven_Crowking wrote:I would read that as level x 10.

Black Powder, Black Magic issue 3 Monk jumping.
In the leap of the grasshopper section under the monk class: "A Kung Fu Monk may always make a percentage of his total movement equal to his level as a jump, needing no equipment or running start. At 10th level the monk can literally fly!". The more i look at this the more it seems to be i...

Deadlands flavor mechanics.
I started thinking about doing Deadlands with DCC using "Black Powder, Black Magic" as a base and realized you wouldn't be missing a whole lot by running it straight BP, BM. The two things i would want to add though would be huckster and mad science flavoring for wizards and i came up with...

I was one of the unfortunate souls who couldnt get to a store on that day. Does the module contain MCC quickstart rules or is the preview from the gencon 2015 guide the best we have so far?Blood Axe wrote:I got mine. Actually two.

Re: Does anyone know the name of this AD&D module?
Looks like it was "Palace of the Silver Princess". My pre-teen brain seems to have embellished a bit on the swords importance though. And the fact that it was Basic and not AD&D. Oh well. Thanks for the info, Now i have a list of books to peruse at my leisure.

Does anyone know the name of this AD&D module?
The adventure in question involves someone trying to perform a ritual that requires the use of a sword carved entirely from one large ruby. The sword wasn't magic, they just needed it for a spell. and i'm pretty sure it was TSR. I know that's not a lot to go on but thats all i remember from it and g...

Re: Curious about the DCC RPG crowd...
I started in middle school in 2001 playing my step dads old AD&D modules modified for use with 3.0. I begged him to let me play because i was really into The Chronicles of Narnia books at the time (Not exactly Appendix N but close enough). I really enjoyed the fantasy world of it and the Lord of...

Re: Introductions Thread - Join the Band!
Hello all. Been into roleplaying games since the early 2000's. My first adventure was a slightly modified version of "The Keep on the Borderlands". Ever since then i've discovered quite a few RPGs that i enjoy such as D&D 5e and Savage Worlds. I was introduced to DCC a little while aft...
